We arrive home after a very exciting drive. Everyone is already eating . "There's some pizza on the counter for you two" Tony tells us. We grab some pizza and sit down. "Everyone we have something to tell you" I announce. Everyone looks at us. "Don't tell us you're getting married" Sam sighs and shakes his head. Steve and I look at each other and laugh. "Oh my god you are?" Nat says. "God no no not yet anyway" I laugh. I place the baby scan on the table "I'm pregnant, we're having a baby" I blurt out with excitement.
Everyone's faces drop and stare at the picture on the table, "wait what?" Tony says. "Wow don't all get excited at once" I sarcastically say. "No, no this is great news I'm so happy for you guys it's just a bit of a shock" Wanda comforts. Sam just sits there with his jaw dropped sort of shocking he has nothing to say. "Wanda is right this is great news I'm getting a niece or nephew" Nat smiles. "Technically it would be your gra- shut up Bruce it's my niece or nephew" Nat says interrupting Banner emphasising on the niece or nephew.
"We're like a family so technically we will all have a niece or nephew this is exciting" Pepper cheers. "Wait will the tiny human have powers since you can whatever you do and the old man is a super soldier" Thor asks. Everyone goes silent thinking about what Thor said. "Hey who you calling old man aren't you like a thousand?" Steve jokes, Thor just laughs and shrugs his shoulders. What if our baby has powers though? What will it be able to do. "It probably will since you two aren't normal humans your baby won't be normal either" Bruce tells us.
I look at Steve who looks at me. "We will have to protect it because if hydra or anyone knows our baby isn't normal they'll try take it and make it evil" I tell them. "Or just act like the baby is normal and try keep it from finding out it has powers" Bucky speaks. "And how do you plan on doing that? Any suggestions" Tony shakes his head. "Nah man I wanna know what it can do Uncle Sam is going to be the cool one" Sam lays back in his chair and folds his arms.
"Sam you are never allowed near our baby" I joke "but Bucky is kind of right we will have to hide the powers some way I don't know how or even if we can but we need to try" I say seriously.
It's weird I won't have a normal baby, what if I get up to feed it one night and the baby is just flying around the room or zapping me to another dimension. I'll still love my little magical baby whether it can fly or Zap me or go invisible.
Later that night everyone is out fighting. They're fighting a lot lately a lot of strange things keep appearing but of course when something exciting is happening I can't fight obviously so I'm at home watching tv. Maybe these weird creatures are because of me, because of the baby. No I'm just overthinking surely not it's a little baby they hardly know.
