After finding out last night that Declan's baby was a girl, nothing could ruin Jade's mood, she was so excited for the baby girl to come over to her uncle and aunties house and play dolls and plait hair and what not. Melanie was thrilled about it too, she wanted it to be a girl and it was.
I woke up next to Mason, already awake watching tv from his bed. He began to play with the band of Jade's underwear, as much as she couldn't resist, she had to since his parents were literally outside the door.
'Mason! You're parents are right next door.'
'So, it makes it more exciting.' He replied, making Jade laugh at how passionate he was about having riskier sex. 'Get up now, I want breakfast.'
'I have to wait for something to go down before I do that.'
Jade rolled her eyes and got up first instead to make food for the four people inside her house. She wasn't the best cook, but she did have the skill of cooking eggs and bacon nailed down.
She presented her full English to the group by laying it out on the table, and everyone could help themselves to what they wanted.
'This is delicious' Mason's mom said to Jade, as her mouth was full with hash brown. Jade laughed, and carried on eating her meal.
After Mason's parents left, the house fell quiet and it made the couple realise how they could use some extra company around.

Jade's POV
It was 9 months later and the big day had arrived, my best friend was going into labour, with my other best friends baby. I hadn't been around Mason at all much, we had decided to take a break as this whole baby thing was driving us insane, we wanted different things so he moved out and I stayed in our house alone. We still had small talk when we were with friends, but it was nothing more. I still thought about him everyday, and I just wondered why nothing would ever go the right way for us. We were either destined to keep trying with our relationship or doomed.
I grabbed my keys and headed straight to the hospital, where Melanie and Declan were. I was so excited to see their new baby girl, and to see my best friend as I had been rather busy to see her.
I had arrived at the hospital and I was in the waiting room with my mom and dad who were now nan and grandad to Declan's baby. I walked into the room where my best friend was lay, she had her baby girl in her arms.
'Hi, Heidi.' I said, in a high pitch voice, lengthening my words.
'You wanna hold her?' Mel asked me as I held my arms out to pick up the baby, who was bundled in a blanket. I cradled her for a minute before turning to the door and seeing Mason open it.
He walked over to Declan and gave him a hug, then coming over to me to see the baby. He placed the knuckle of his pointer finger on Heidi's cheek, stroking it gently, before looking at me and smiling. I could only think how it would feel to have a baby of our own, but since we weren't talking much and our relationship was practically on the rocks, now wouldn't be a good time for that.
'Your uncle and auntie duties are calling.' Laughed Melanie, who looked in awe at how we were handling the baby so well.
We stepped outside as the doctor came into the room. It wasn't long before Mason and slipped his arm around the small of my back, not too low since my family were right there.
'You okay?' He whispered into my ear, I replied with a small nod, 'come home with me tonight.'
'Mason, I don't know.'
'Please, I've missed you so much.'
I agreed with him and allowed him to take me home, I said goodbye to everyone and left.
I left my car at the hospital since he promised to take me back to it later, so we set off and I demanded I wanted a McDonald's out of him before we pulled up on the drive.
I sat in his car eating my burger and fries, noticing his small glances at me to make sure I wasn't making a mess, he was picky with those things. We soon pulled up to the house and I launched myself on the sofa, mason following behind me.
'I missed this place.' I huffed as I landed on my back down into the sofa.
'Simple solution, move back in.' He smiled cheekily.
'You see it's not that simple-' I said, before being cut off by my phone ringing. I saw the name pop up and quickly knew this wasn't a phone call Mason needed to know about. I silenced the call before telling Mason it was an unknown caller. I lied.
'Why isn't it?'
'It's just not. I need the loo really quick.' I said as I shifted out of my seat to go to the bathroom. I got in, locked the door and called the number back.
'Now isn't a good time.' I spoke down the line.
'Why? Where are you?' They asked.
'Mason's, well my old house.'
'Mason? Jade..'
'It's not what it seems, I promise I'll see you later.' I said before hanging up the phone and flushing the toilet that I hadn't even used.
I slumped back down on the couch, me and Mason had decided to watch a movie, he chose Wolf Of Wall Street, probably to make me stay longer since it was three hours long.
After almost 2 hours of the film, we both got bored and our mind wandered elsewhere. Mason had obviously been having dirtier thoughts than me as his package was pressed against my thigh, poking it. He kissed my neck, knowing that was my one weakness. His hand was wrapped around the side of my lower stomach and his kisses managed to move onto my lips. Without realising it, I was kissing him back passionately, grabbing the back of his head to pull him closer to me.
This wasn't fixing any of my problems, or our problems. It was 100% making things worse.
who was jade calling?😐
