It was the day of Chelsea vs Manchester United and Jade had been invited by Ava to watch the game, since Ava's boyfriend was playing. Jade felt as if she shouldn't go because of the Mason-Ben situation, but she wanted to do it for her bestfriend and Marcus.

The two girls drove to Stamford Bridge together, running a little late as usual. 'So what's the deal with Ben and Mason, you need to fill me in girl.' Ava questions, 'my head is all over the place, Ben is so sweet but he's just not-'
'not Mason' The bestfriend quickly cutting off Jade's sentence. 'Shutup.' Jade replies jokingly, with a smile. 'No seriously, I rate Ben and he is nice but Mason loves you, I swear I see it. Why don't you give it another go?' Said Ava. 'I don't think after the stunts I've been pulling recently he will want anything to do with me.' Jade sighed. 'Look, just go into the Chelsea side, near the tunnel and hang around before the game, see if he does anything. It'll show you if he wants anything.' Ava says hopefully, as the girls get out of the car and into the stadium.

Jade decided to take her bestfriends advice, she wanted to see if Mason and her could make things right, but she also wanted to make sure her and Ben stayed friends.

A few of the players come out of the changing rooms and head through the tunnel towards the pitch, first Pulisic, Tammy, Havertz and Jorginho. They were not long followed by Chilwell. 'Ben!' The girl shouts calling him over to where she was leant against the wall, 'Hey' he says, smiling at the girl with one arm pressed on the wall to the left of her. 'Look, I've been meaning to chat to you about this but if you want to leave it till later we can.' Jade explains. 'No, now is fine' said the boy. 'Okay, so I don't know how you actually feel about me or if there's even feelings there, but I just wanted to let you know I want to keep this purely friend based.' She continues with a hopeful smile on her face. 'Wow, pied' Ben says, raising his eyebrows, 'I'm kidding I know you like Mason.' He laughs. 'And how do you know this?' She says, poking his arm playfully. 'Oh come on, it's obvious' He continues, the boy looking at an invisible watch on his wrist signalling his depart.

Jade walks away from the changing rooms to go and find an excited Ava who was about to watch her boyfriend play after not seeing him in months, but she was interrupted by someone tugging her arm into a room on the right of the corridor. She was pulled into a room with a desk, computer, some medals, retro shirts and trophies; by a brown-eyed Chelsea midfielder. 'I need to talk to you' said both of the people in sync. 'I'm going first.' Demanded Jade. 'Look, Mason, I'm so sorry about the whole Ben thing I really shouldn't have crossed the line and cozied up to one of your teammates. I told him I want nothing more than a friendship, and that I want to focus on someone else.'
'Someone else?' Mason questions, slightly smirking as the girl confessed her attraction to him. 'Mason Tony Mount, you know it's you. It will always be you, I can't go one second of any day not thinking about you because I've fallen for you. And all the shit with Sophie, Jesse and Ben just made me realise how much I want and need this.' Said the girl, losing her breath as she finished her explanation.

Mason moves the girls hair away from her face; holding her head in the palm of his hand, whilst looking down at her lips, then back at her eyes. He pulled Jade towards him, locking his lips with hers, kissing her passionately, picking her up onto the desk with his hands softly around her waist, all without breaking the kiss. Eventually, he pulls away, 'I've fallen for you too.' He says, out of breath from the kiss. The boy turns to the clock on the wall which read 7:53pm, 'shit I gotta go, meet me later' he says, pressing a final kiss on her forehead. 'Watch you don't knock anyone out with that stiffy.' Jade laughs, whilst the boy jogs away from the room with a beaming smile on his face.

The game ended with a draw and everyone made plans to head to Nando's, Tammy, Chilwell, Mount, Pulisic and Rashford were all set to meet Declan and the girls at the restaurant. Mason and Ben had a quick chat on the way, and decided that Jade would not get in the way of their close friendship, Ben was surprisingly all for the soon to be couple.

At Nando's, Mason of course sat next to Jade and opposite her brother, whom he had been friends with for a long time. The whole night consisted of story-telling, mostly Declan trying to embarrass Jade, but failing and ended up finding himself more embarrassed.

Mason in the meantime, rubbed the palm of his hand against Jade's thigh, causing her heart to beat a little faster. Every now and again, he would go further and further, grabbing her thigh tighter and tighter, until the pair both disappeared in Mason's car towards the end of the night.
