Author's Note;
This is a little extension of the ending that helps set Cryptic up for a sequel. Enjoy!

Grandpa Dannings puts Presley to bed while April and Casper go out for a late-night coffee run. As they're waiting in line, arm-in-arm, April can't help but stare up at the lanky boy with dark brown eyes and matching dark brown hair by her side. Admiring his beauty and undeniable attraction, she can't help but notice the sense of mystery that he disperses; he looks troubled and April is intrigued. "Casper, is everything okay?" She asks. He simply shakes his head, waving her off. "What's wrong?" April inquires.
"April, the less you know, the better and when the time comes, you can start to worry. But I don't want you worrying yourself over anything right now until I figure this situation out," Casper mutters. April shakes her head; she's heard it all before and she immediately becomes frazzled. She doesn't like when Casper keeps things from her and more so, she hates that he feels like he has to; it's the uncertainty that her fear revolves round. "You have nothing to fear," he promises, sensing the uncertainty in her eyes.
"Been there, done that; tell me what's going on,"she demands, keeping her voice low.
"April, calm down; I'm under a lot of stress right now, but the situation is under control," Casper promises again.
"Hi, how may I help you?" The girl behind the counter interrupts us.
"I'll have a tall soy latte with two shots of hazelnut," April tells her, distracted.
"Dry," Casper adds in a stern-tone.
Here they go again... things are about to get cryptic.
