"Move!" Itachi shouts catching Sasuke's attention from the Zetsu he had been fighting. Itachi latches onto Sasuke for a second time and forces him away from where they had been. Sasuke grunts and pulls away from his brother but moves on his own more freely allowing both of them to pick up their speeds. A force rushes through the trees uprooting them from the ground behind the two Uchiha. A bright stinging light causing even the trees to fade from their sight. The energy within this light burns at their skins and tears through their clothes before they make a final mad leap into the air sending themselves plummeting down into a ravine. Successfully getting them out of that light in time to see trees, rocks, and dirt flying over the top of the ravine as they fall.

"Sasuke." Itachi speaks causing Sasuke to grunt. "Yeah, that came from where Kira was fighting." Sasuke agrees as they flip in the air to adjust their trajectory. Catching themselves on the side of the ravine. With chakra in their hands as well as feet they skid along the wall until finally managing to stop. "Do you think she won?" Sasuke questions causing a heavy weight to build on Itachi's shoulders. "That attack, wasn't one of hers." He answers his brother causing Sasuke to gasp and look at his brother. "Let's go." Itachi orders before running back up the ravine with Sasuke hot on his heels. "How do you know?" Sasuke grunts as they leap onto the ledge of the ravine. His eyes widening at what was before him. Itachi stops as well his eyes moving over the area that had once been covered in trees was now decimated down to rock that was beneath the soil. As far as their eyes could see. Nothing remained. Causing a pit of pain to build in Itachi's chest. "Kira's energy is fire by nature. It's why even touching her energy in its condensed form like her whip or even her energy blade can burn. Her condensed chakra ball she builds like you had witnessed in the land of waterfall decimates but it more burns than incinerates. It is why there is usually traces of her blue flames scattered around the area afterwards. This, was far worse."

These words draw Sasuke's gaze away from the barren land to his brother. His eyes widening with his building fear. "You don't think.. Kira.." His voice cuts off just as Itachi dashes forward. Showing his own worry for Kira. For the first time Sasuke witnesses his brother lose focus on his control as his emotions brings a single tear to run over his chin. Sasuke pushes himself forward fighting against the stinging pain from the burns on his flesh. From fighting the entire day his chakra was running low but he fought with every ounce of strength he had to keep going. She couldn't have got caught up in that! There's no possible way. She's... Kira. Sasuke tells himself even as Itachi finds himself unable to speak. His mind on one thing, and one thing only. Kira.

From their position at the wall where they had taken to watching the battles close to their alliance headquarters. Three of the five Kage who had just been wondering why the sixth Hokage would order a sudden retreat watches as a bright red light appears off in the distance. The more pink in color the larger it became. "What is that?" Gara questions drawing the other's attentions. Just as it exploded. A visible shockwave preceding the initial blast of white light. "Get Kakashi!" The fifth Mizukage yells to her subordinate Chojiro, her eyes never leaving the explosion as it covers a vast amount of land in a large circumference. Debris literally flying over the blast and disappearing before it could even hit the ground. Quite a bit of the debris closer to them were Zetsu. The shockwave blast hits their area causing them to raise their arms over their faces and brace themselves so they aren't upheaved.

By the time Kakashi makes it to the wall the light begins to fade. His eye widens watching as the land that had once been filled with trees had even the dirt stripped away. "That's..." He breathes out. He was going to say not possible but he has learned by now that when kin like Aphrodite and Kira are involved, anything is possible. "It's a good thing you pulled our forces out of there." Mei says quietly as she closes her pale blue eyes. "Yeah.." Kakashi answers quietly drawing out his word. He wanted to go and see how things ended up but he has responsibilities there that he just couldn't put them aside. He sighs and turns to Shikamaru. "Assemble a team to meet up with Itachi's squad. Find out if Damen has been eliminated. Take Ino with the assembled team in case they are in need of medical attention."
