Bethane's POV:

I decide to stay with Rider in San Francisco up until Saturday.

We spent Wednesday having sex all day long which is why my legs feel numb, and today, Rider decided that we need to cheer Roman up since he and Alaiya had sex according to Ivy, but they said they're going to wait for each other.

Isn't that cute!

Both Roman and Rider had training yesterday and today, but neither of them look tired from it, especially Rider. I don't know how he maintains his level of energy every day, all day.

"Let's go out," Rider whines in my lap as we're sitting in Roman's apartment which is right next door to Rider's.

"I'm not fucking going to a club," Roman states while texting somebody.

"Beth and I are together, but we're going."

"This isn't about Alaiya." Roman rolls his eyes.

"But that's everything your life is about," Rider replies dramatically. "I hate Alaiya, I don't hate Alaiya. I like Alaiya, I don't like Alaiya. I had sex with Alaiya, I'm waiting for Alaiya," Rider mocks him in a deep voice, making me laugh because he is kind of right.

"Who invited you here?" Roman asks after tossing a pillow at Rider's face.

"I did bitch." Rider frustratedly pushes the pillow off of him. "Oh, and check what's trending on Twitter."

Roman looks at him warily before getting out his phone and checking the app. When he does, his eyes ignite with flames.

The door is suddenly busted open and a man with a suit on stomps inside.

"What the hell is this?" The guy shows his phone to Roman.

"A fucking phone," Roman sighs.

The man glares at him.

"No! It's a fucking phone with an app called Twitter where your team's name is trending because apparently, you guys are all going to the biggest club in the city tonight and I wasn't told about this," his manager, I'm guessing, yells.

"That's so weird!" Rider mocks Roman who I swear might kill him any second now.

"How bad is it for my reputation if I murder someone?" Roman glares right at Rider while asking.

"Only a few nights in jail," his manager quickly responds before pointing at his phone again. "People expect you to be there so you're definitely going if that's what he's making fun of you for."

"Oh, whose this?" He abruptly looks over at me and goes completely calm. "I'm Landon."

"I'm Bethane," I introduce myself kindly.

"My girlfriend," Rider adds proudly while still laying in my lap.

Landon's eyes widen.

"You have a girlfriend?!" he exclaims in shock. "Why are you with him?" he asks me this time.

"Moment of weakness," I hiss jokingly.

Rider glares up at me.

"Kidding," I clear up, making him relax as he looks back over at everyone and kisses my hand.

"I'm gonna go throw up in the restroom." Roman stands up in disgust.

"Sure, it definitely isn't because Alaiya is calling you," Rider calls from behind him.

Roman flips him off as he continues to walk, making us all laugh at the way he quickly shut the door.

"See you two tomorrow. Make sure he doesn't back out. I can't have the quarterback of a whole-ass NFL team looking like he hates the people he plays with."
