Bucky’s heart broke at the sound of his precious little girls quiet sobs. He knew she was shedding those tears for him as he watched her kneeling by his gravestone. It had been a week since his funeral.

A twig snapped in front of Gia as she lifted her head up, only to be met with a pair of striking blue eyes. Bucky pulled her into his chest, stroking her back gently, tightening his arms around his girl. “Are you okay, babygirl?” He asked but Gia couldn't answer. “Baby?” he whispered again, softly. She didn't respond, instead she sniffed again as she tried her hardest to fight back her tears but they fell anyways.

“Baby, I’m so sorry.” He spoke again, his voice a stark contrast to what she was expecting. He was gentle now, soft. He was apologizing for everything. What he needed to apologise for was making her and everybody else believe he was dead.

“You left me.” Gia finally spoke, her voice was strained and tired. She sobbed softly, still holding him tightly, “Fuck I thought you actually died.”

His heart broke a little more. Once he was done with his false death, he could have easily left and never show his face around her again, but he didn't... He couldn't do it as much as he knew what he was getting her involved in. He needed her and even though he was controlling she was glad he was safe.

“I’m sorry baby. I’ve been away for a long time. I know. I had to make it believable and fuck was it easy to do” he sort of apologized.

Gia sniffed again. “Still, why the fuck did you need to convince people you were dead?” Gia spoke, pulling away to look at him with tears still falling from her eyes.

Bucky wiped her tears away and pulled her back into him. “I lost my mind when I saw you with Loki. You’re mine and you know that. But you still let someone else put their dirty hands on you. How could you, baby?” He was calmer now, he tried to get her to forget about knowing he was involved in dangerous business.

“I was talking to an old friend, he was trying to comfort me over losing you.” Gia exclaimed, pulling away from him to look into his eyes. His eyes were soft and deep. Gia had gone for coffee with Loki a few days ago as old friends grieving the loss of a friend. Nothing more to it.

He was confused by her words. “What?” he asked, gently running his hands up and down her sides willing her to explain what she meant.

Gia wiped some more tears away and took a deep breath. “I was lonely, I didn't have no one and I was grieving so he offered to take me out for coffee as a friendly face.” Gia finally confessed.

“You could’ve just told me that, baby or better yet asked Pietro or Rumlow to go to coffee with you.” his voice sounding more caring than she expected him to.

Gia almost chuckled. “You wasn't here. You were gone Bucky. Besides, who I chose to spent time with is up to me, not you.” Gia made it very clear. But, Bucky being who he was didn’t like that.

Bucky reached out to grab her face, making sure he had Gia's undivided attention. “You are mine. All your choices are also mine, ok? You don’t have to worry about a thing from now on. I’ll take care of you, and everything else.”

Gia knew this was her moment to be brave, she wanted to grieve him and move on, even if he wasn't actually dead, the pair were too toxic. “No.” She avoided his eyes. Bucky sighed, knowing his beautiful doll would come around to him eventually.

Bucky took his suit jacket off and put it around Gia to shelter her from the cold air. “You don’t have to worry, you’re never going to need any other man's company again.”

Gia knew that possessive, slightly arrogant tone of his, and it only added to the reason she needed to be away from him. “What do you mean?” Gia questioned further.

“You fucking belong to me! If I have to set up rules I will so don't test me Gia.” He spat as if it were nothing at all. He had been thinking about this for a while now and needed his doll to fall in line.

Gia was dumbfounded. “Bucky, what-” He cut her off, pulling her closer to kiss her forehead. “You heard what I said, baby.” He mumbled against her skin, not liking to repeat himself.

“You can't keep me prisoner.” Gia tried to reason with him, looking around the graveyard at the plethora of men who had gathered, each one watching their bosses interaction with his girl.

“Because I want you all to myself. I want you to be with me.” Gia scoffed. “This is how you treat your fucking girlfriend?” He looked at her and smiled. “Not past girlfriends no, just you.” He caressed her tear stained cheek lazily. His heart fluttered as he looked at his delicious angel, he loved her so much.

“Where are we going?” Gia asked, she didn't want to go anywhere with him and couldn't help the feeling of fear creeping up her spine. “Home.” he replied. “Your home? Are you serious?”

“Our home.” Bucky corrected, Gia knew he was getting irritated with her but she wanted space and needed to process what had happened.. Alone. “You’re coming to live with me. I’ve been too far from you for too long and I want every single fucking man to know who you belong to.”

Gia began to say something but he spoke up again before she could say a word. “And I won’t take no for an answer.” Gia sighed and tried to move away from Bucky, his arms holding her closely.

“Every king needs his queen by his side. And I need you. I’ll keep you safe and happy, and I’ll love you. Forever.” Gia looked between him and his men before looking back at his tombstone.

"Why now? Why make yourself known after a week?" He smiled and pressed his lips against her forehead, whispering, “You know I can’t stay away from you, babydoll.”

Gia didn't know what to say, so she pulled away from Bucky and turned to run, Zemo and Rumlow stood tall behind her stopping the movement in their tracks. With fear very clear on her face she turned to face Bucky.

"Why do you look so frightened doll? Were you expecting to run into the arms of someone else?" Bucky chuckled. He walked toward her slowly, running the back of his hand down the side of her cheek towards her lip once he reached her.

He then ran his thumb across her soft lips staring into her bewildered eyes. "I've left her speechless boys" he laughed out to his group of men as he released his touch from her. He moved quickly in his action taking her by the throat bringing her closer to his body, he towered over her like an omen of death.

"I know you wanted me dead doll, I could see it in your eyes at the funeral how relieved you were and that.. that sure does break my heart" he began squeezing her throat harder until she flung her head back making him release as his hand  formed on her neck in redness, a perfect collar for his good girl.

"Take her home boys, I'll deal with her later. "
