THE THREE STOOD IN
front of a pile of snow, staring up at the sky as they walked closer. Morgan leaned down, grabbing part of the DO NOT CROSS sign, dropping it immediately after knowing what it was. "Keep Morgan way." The girl heard Mike say to the other girl, curiosity got the best if Morgan, she ran to the older two, trying to see past Mike who was in her way.

She pushed the boy aside and stared at the horrifying sight infront of her. A makeshift cross that spelled BETH and a shallow grave with only bones left. Morgan let out a wail and fell to her knees. Not knowing what to do or say, the two older kids bent down, eloping the girl in a hug as she uncontrollably sobbed.

After what felt like forever, the girl was able to breathing and control her tears. Something shiny grabbed her attention, Morgan reached out and grabbed it, turning it over and examining Beth's old watch. Morgan quickly slid it in her pocket, along with the small bear and prom photo from earlier.

She held Bath's locket close to her chest as she got up. "I- Goodbye Beth, sleep tight." Came as a whisper from the girls mouth as she followed the other two. "Look, over there. Do you see that door?" Sam pointed across the water, quickly sliding in, letting the cold water swallow around her hips.

Mike and Morgan followed, quickly becoming cold. Mike stopped in his tracks and pointed to another small ledge. "Look, wanna see if we find anything useful?" Without thinking, all three of them trotted over to the opposite ledge. Pulling herself up out of the water, Morgan helped the others out.

Her eye immediately dart to an old journal on the ground. Moegan flipped the pages, quickly reading over notes from the 1950s. Until she saw the date February 3, 2014

Day 1

My little sister is dead. The fall killed her... I watched the color drain from her face. My leg is broken. I'm all alone, stuck here with Beth's body. Someone will come soon.

Day 5

I've never been so HUNGRY. It feels like my stomach is twisting around inside. I took Beth's sweater. Much warmer now. She's still looking out for me.

Day 30

I'm sorry Beth. I have no choice. I'm DYING. It's the only way I can survive any more. If someone finds this I'm SORRY. I had to. I had no choice. Forgive me Beth. I'm sorry.

Day 33

My hands feel unclean.

My nails fell out PUSHED OUT

I am aching but no more COLD NO PAIN

I am getting stronger!!
