MORGAN QUICKLY FOLLOWED
Hannah, trying to stay hidden and not make any noise. That was almost impossible from the pain that numbed her face. She watched as it dropped Josh down onto the ground and scurrying away as another almost silent screech was heard from a few miles away.

She watched as Josh layed on the ground, not moving. She feared the boy maybe dead, she clutched the flamethrower in her hand and swallowed the lump in her throat, slowly making her way to the boy.

Once she saw the Wendigo climb the wall and out the top, she ran as fast as her legs could take her, sliding down next to Josh, his face was cold and pale. "Josh please. pease wake up Josh, I can't lose you too." The girls voice cracked, tears fel down her face and landed on Josh's cheeks.

"Mmh, Hannah? Beth?" Morgan laughed in relief, knowing that her friend wasn't dead and the others were hopefully safe. "Josh, you need to get up. Please, we have to leave." Morgan stood up, trying to pull Josh with her. He was almost asleep, from the night all of them had, she was jealous he could even close his eyes.

Morgan watched the boy and turned around, looking at the room she was in. It was filled with human bones and nothing else. It was like the bedroom for the creature. Morgan thought about the Wendigo, well Hannah. She remembered seeing the tattoo on her shoulder, she got the tattoo as soon as she turned 18. Morgan smiled at the memory, she just wanted her friends to be in peace, have eternal rest, not this.

Morgan took off the heavy metal flamethrower and layed down next to Josh, the adrenaline from everything was starting to wear off and the pain finally hit the girl. It was excruciating it made her pass out, her eyes grew heavier until she couldn't keep them open.

THE UNBEARABLE PAIN IN THE
girls face made her shoot up from her spot. She looked around the room and Josh was nowhere in sight. She grabbed the backpack and threw it on. Running out, trying to find the boy. "Josh? Josh where are you?" Morgan yelled, hearing only her voice echo through the mines tunnels.

She heard a low grunt and a squishing noise. She found her flashlight nearby and pressed the button, knowing it wouldn't turn on from being thrown around. Though her luck, it gave her just enough light to see.

Infront of her was Josh, his face was twisted. His teeth sharp and ripped through his cheeks, his eyes were a milky white. In his hands was the head of the dead stranger. "Josh?"

"I'm seeing movement, I see two people. Morgan Hartley, Joshua Washington! Is that you?"

Morgan heard the voices of two people and the sound of radio feedback. "Stay there. It's Josh, he's, he's turning into one." Before the girl could finish her sentence, Josh sprinted to the two cops, instantly decapitating them infront of the girl. She wanted to scream but couldn't find her voice, it's like it was ripped out.
