Chapter 29: Morning Preparation

Kamala rolls over the following morning to see Doug is not in bed. Then the smell of food cooking hits her nose and it makes her nauseous instantly. She gets up and runs to the bathroom covering her mouth, drops to her knees and vomits.

Doug is in the kitchen making breakfast when he hears all the commotion in the bathroom, he walks over to the bedroom and sees Kamala in the bathroom "Love, hey, hey are you okay?" he asks walking towards her.
"Just a bout of.." she stops to throw up again "morning sickness."
Doug rubs her back and kisses her head gently "It's gonna be okay" he says handing her a cloth.
"Thanks. I just need some food and I should be fine."
"Okay, go lay down, i'll bring you the food okay?"
She get's up and cleans her face with the cloth. "Thank you baby your so sweet, I don't know what i'd do without out you."
"Your welcome" he smiles and kisses her head again before walking out to continue making breakfast.

When Doug comes back with her plate she is playing with her phone. She put's it down and sits up. He hands her the plate "here you love".
"mm thank you baby."
"your welcome love".
Doug smiles and stands there for a minute "i'm gonna go check on the kids, i'll be
right back okay?"
"Okay baby." Kamala says as she continues to enjoy the beautiful food he made.

Doug goes to check on Cole, "Hey Dad."
"hey bud are you okay. how'd you sleep?"
"I slept great. It was nice hearing laughter from your room."
Doug smiles "that's good. Yeah it was" he nods.
"Im glad your happy dad."
"Yeah me too."
"Thank you for falling in love with someone who Ella will be able to open up to and bond with."
"Of course, i'm glad she can help with Ella, she'll help you too, i promise" he says as he ruffles Coles hair and smiles.
Cole laughs "Okay Dad" Cole says then watches Doug walk away.

He walks back to his room and see's that Kamala is done "Hey can you go check on Ella i just have something to finish".
"Sure" she gets up.
"thank you" he smiles grabbing her plate and heading to the kitchen to clean up everything.

Kamala knocks on Ella's door lightly. Ella was still asleep, but wakes up slowly, hearing someone knocking on her door "come in" she says with a yawn. Kamala walks in "Hey sweetie, I'm sorry did I wake you?"
"yeah but it's okay" Ella sits up and yawn.
"How did you sleep?"
"good" she says getting up to hug Kamala.
Kamala smiles and hugs back, kissing the top of Ella's head. "Do you want some breakfast? I've already eaten but your dad cooked."
"yeah sure" she nods.
Kamala takes her hand and leads her downstairs.
Ella sits down at the table tired.
"Dougie, my sweet
Ella would like food" Kamala tells him. Doug smiles, as he makes Ella a plate.

Cole comes downstairs and sits at the table as Ella eats and Kamala stands there
smiling.  Doug makes Cole a plate m. Cole thanks him and starts to dig in.

"I'm going to get dressed okay?" Kamala says.
"Okay" Doug says. She gives Doug a quick kiss, then makes her way to his room, once she is out of view she starts moving faster making my way to the bathroom in Doug's room in case she needs to vomit.

"What do you guys wanna do today?" Doug asks.
"We could go to the aquarium."
"okay and what do you want to do Ella?"
"I don't know."
Kamala sits on the bathroom floor for awhile.
"okay well do you want to go to the aquarium?"
"Okay" she nods.
"okay, aquarium it is".

Kamala stands up and gets dressed then does her make up.
"okay cool, we'll leave in like 30 okay?"
Both of them nod and say "Okay" then go upstairs to get ready.

Doug smiles and walks to into his room "Love we're gonna go to the aquarium is that okay with you?"
"Of course...i just" She quickly goes to the bathroom to use the toilet.
"What's wrong love?"
"Sorry, frequent urination."
"it's okay, but what though?"
"I'll need some snacks and lots of fluids."
"okay, that's fine" he says.
"Okay" She smiles and kisses him.
He kisses back and smiles.
"mm" she moans. Doug pulls away. "Sorry." She look's down. He lifts her chin "what's wrong love?"
"I don't want you to think i want that. I just really liked the kiss. I'm not even in the mood for that right now. I feel bloated I guess it's because my uterus is expanding".
"Love...i don't think you want it right now, why didn't you just kiss me again. you
know what" He kisses her slowly again.
Kamala smirks and kisses back.
Doug pulls her in deeper feeling a smirk on her lips. She wraps her arms around his neck and he smirks.
Kamala finally pulls away,"Thank you." "Of course" he says walking into the closet to get dressed.
Kamala sits on the bed and waits.
He finishes getting dressed and walks out "ready?".
She nods "Yes".

He grabs her hand and smiles, he rub's her small hand with his thumb and walks to find only Cole.
"where's ella?"
Cole shrugs, "I'm not sure."
Doug looks at Kamala and shrugs.
"I'll go check on her" Kamala says.
"okay".
She goes upstairs and knocks on Ella's door.
"Sweetie?"
"yeah? you can come in" she says finishing her eyeliner.
Kamala walks in and smiles.
"Hey, sorry i was just fixing my eyeliner".
"That's Okay. You don't need to apologize"
"okay" Ella smiles and gets up.
"You ready?"
"Yeah"  Kamala wraps her arm around Ella as they go downstairs.

Doug just smiles looking at them.
"Okay lets go" Kamala says.
"Alright" he grabs keys and wallet and walks out, Kamala, Cole and Ella following him, to the car.
