nini salazar roberts goes missing for a few weeks before randomly appearing back in her apartment, acting strange. her team thinks nothing of it as they are in a rush to finish filming season 3 of "vampire secrets". but...
It was the next morning and Ricky had spent the night after he and Nini made up. He opens his eyes slowly, turning over but feeling weight on his chest as he looks down to see the brunette-haired girl fast asleep. He slightly smiles as he grabs his phone off the side table, turning it on to see missed calls and texts from EJ and Red.
It was around 9am, so he decides to give them a call back. He slowly gets up from the bed and walks out into the living room, so he doesn't wake up Nini.
"Ricky! My gosh", EJ's voice beams through the phone.
"What's up? You and Red called like a hundred times.", Ricky chuckles.
"We were wondering if you made it back to your apartment after giving Nini her jacket...then you never answered and so we thought you got kidnapped.", EJ explains.
Ricky presses his lips together, smiling at the thought of last night, "Right...well...I'm not kidnapped."
Ricky can practically see EJ roll his eyes through the phone, "No duh. Me and Red are gonna come over to your apartment now."
"Oh uh...I'm actually not there right now.", Ricky says quickly.
"Ricky Bowen is out of his apartment at 9am? This is a first.", EJ replies, sarcastically.
"Ha, ha. I'm at Nini's apartment."
"Ooo...I take it things went well last night?", EJ teases.
"EJ shut up. We did make up and sh-", Ricky gets cut off.
"Or do you mean make out?", EJ mocks.
"Elijah Caswell!", Ricky whisper-yells.
"We both know you wanted to.", EJ replies, laughing.
"Goodbye EJ.", Ricky says, hanging up, laughing as he shakes his head.
"Who was that?", a voice says, coming from the bedroom.
"Oh, good morning. It was just EJ.", Ricky smiles.
"Oh okay. Morning.", she smiles back.
"You wanna go have brunch?", Ricky asks.
"Sure, why not?", she giggles, "I'll go get ready."
Ricky nods, smiling as he watches the girl walk back into the bedroom to get ready.
Nini walks into her bathroom, taking a quick shower before getting out and changing into a white tank top with khaki shorts. She pulls her hair into a messy bun and does a light load of makeup.
