{Saturday}

Nini wakes up, finding herself alone in Ricky's bed. She furrows her brows as she slowly stumbles out of bed and into the main room.

"Morning", a curly haired brunette greets.

"Hey", Nini smiles.

"How you doing?", he asks, serving her a plate of french toast as she takes a seat.

She shrugs, "I'm alright."

Ricky sighs, "You wanna do anything today?"

"Not really...I need to call Jenn and update her...", Nini replies.

He nods, "Okay, that's good. Uh are you...starting work?"

She shakes her head, "No, no. I was gonna ask for more time off..."

"Okay, I don't think working is a good idea now."

"Why not?', she asks, curiously.

"Nini...I just think with the mental state you're in...you shouldn't add stress because of work onto it.", Ricky explains.

"Whaaat...I'm fine.", she argues.

"Sure, sure.", he agrees, sarcastically.

She rolls her eyes as she plops a bite of french toast into her mouth.

"Is it good?", Ricky asks.

She smiles and nods, "Always is"

"Hi, yes so I need you to come here next Wednesday to prepare. I'm figuring everything out...in terms of getting Nini to come over here without suspicion.", Gina speaks over the phone.

"Will do. Should I bring anything for this first time?", a lady speaks over the phone.

"Nope. Maybe just a pencil and paper.", Gina replies.

"Okay, sounds good. Talk soon.", the lady replies.

"Bye!", Gina says, hanging up.

"Okay, thanks for the food Ricky. I'm gonna head to my place now.", Nini says.

"Let me know if you need anything.", Ricky smiles.

Nini stays quiet for a second, blankly staring at Ricky.

"Neens? You okay?", he questions.

She shakes her head, snapping out of whatever trance she was in.

"Y-yeah, sorry...", she replies.

Before she walks out the door, she walks up to Ricky, wrapping her arms around his torso, tightly. He wraps his arms around her too, giving her a tight hug back.

He rests his chin on her head, "You sure you're okay?"

She releases from the hug and looks at him, "Yes...I'm good."

"O-okay...", he replies, not believing her.

She begins walking to the door before turning around to meet his eyes.

"Ricky?'

"Yeah?"

"Thanks..."

"For what?"

"Everything."

"Yeah...yeah of course.", he smiles.

"See you...another time...Ricky.", she smiles, walking out of his apartment.
