"Nini wake up please!", Ricky shouts, shaking her.
After having no response from her, he begins to freak out. Running his hands through his hair, he can feel his eyes sting and tears trickle down his face. He pulls his phone out of his pocket, pressing Gina's contact and holding the phone up to his ear.
"Hey Ricky", she speaks.
"Gina! I- I need you to come r- right now. P-please...hurry!", Ricky stutters.
"Uh okay I'll be there in a second", she replies, hanging up.
Ricky bends back down to Nini's side, caressing her cheek gently.
"Nini...why'd you do this...", he whispers, "Please...stay with us. I lov-"
Ricky gets interrupted by the apartment door bursting open and hearing two voices echo through the quiet space.
"Ricky? Ricky where are you?!", the voices shout.
"In here!", he shouts back, standing up.
A curly haired girl and a tall brunette haired boy rush through the bedroom doors, immediately stopping in the threshold of the door once they caught sight of the girl.
"W-what happened!", Gina exclaims.
"I-I think she...overdosed.", Ricky sighs, wiping his eyes.
"N-no it can't. What do you mean she overdosed?! Ricky she doesn't want to ki-"
"Gina. She tried running into traffic at 2am.", Ricky blurts.
The girls eyes widen and her jaw drops open as she stares between the curly haired boy and the unconscious girl lying on the floor. Eventually tears roll down her eyes and she goes in to hug her boyfriend. Ricky sits back down next to Nini.
"Nini please wake up...", he whispers.
"C-can we take her to a hospital or something?", EJ asks, as he comforts his crying girlfriend.
"I think it's too late...", Ricky answers, looking at the floor.
They all sit in silence. Trying to take in what they think has just happened.
A couple minutes later the three heads pop up at the sound of groaning. They see the brunette-haired girl holding her head, as she slowly opens her eyes.
"Nini oh my gosh!", Gina shouts, rushing over to her and wrapping her arms around her.
They help the brunette-haired girl sit up straight and she squints at the three people in front of her.
"What...what happened?", she asks.
"Nini...you overdosed...on anxiety pills.", Ricky explains.
"My head hurts.", Nini complains.
"When you passed out you probably hit your head hard...I think you need to go to sleep.", EJ says.
EJ and Gina help Nini walk over to her bed, and she takes a seat.
"Okay...get some rest. Update me tomorrow, okay?", Gina speaks.
Nini nods and watches as EJ, Gina, and Ricky walk out into the main room.
"Ricky?", Gina replies as she walks through the door, "Watch her closely please...and take care of her."
"I will.", he smiles.
After the apartment door closes, leaving just Nini and Ricky, Ricky walks back into her bedroom to see her silently sitting on her bed, staring down as she fidgets with her fingers.
