{A week after Nini's birthday; Monday 11am}
"Ricky are you ready?!", Nini shouts.
"Yeah coming!", he shouts back, walking out of the bedroom.
He places a quick kiss on her lips before grabbing his car keys, and her hand, and walking out the door. They get into Ricky's car and begin driving towards Jenn's office building. She had called an emergency meeting regarding season three of Vampire Secrets. Everybody was going to be there, and they all hoped they'd found a new director. As they park, they get out and meet with their friends at the front door of the building.
"Hey guys!", Carlos exclaims.
"Hey Los!", Ricky smiles.
"You guys ready?", Ashlyn asks.
"Ready as I'll ever be.", Nini sighs.
The group walks through the doors and down a hallway, leading to a conference room. Jenn was seated next to Benjamin, Ricky's manager.
"Come in, take a seat.", Jenn smiles.
Each person takes a seat around the conference table, waiting for one of them to continue.
"As you all know, we've been searching for a person who can direct Vampire Secrets.", Benjamin begins.
"And we haven't had any luck...if we don't find one within the next week...the show will have to be cancelled for good.", Jenn finishes.
Silence takes over the room as the group tries comprehending everything. Nini slouches down in her seat, disappointed. Ricky intertwines his hand with hers and gently rubs his thumb over her knuckles to comfort her.
"But...we do have one idea.", Jenn smiles.
Everybody perks up quickly, looking at her.
"Nini...we know you've had a lot of experience with acting and movies and shows. We talked with producers and everything and they agreed to let you direct and still play Kamri.", Jenn explains.
Nini's jaw drops, along with everybody else's. She stares at Jenn blankly before attempting to put a sentence together.
"Oh- oh my gosh I-", she grins.
"You don't have to answer right now...we can give you til Wednesday. You just have to let me know and then we can get the papers for you.", Jenn smiles.
"Oh uh- yes, yes I'll let you know.", Nini replies, still in shock.
"Alright, you all are dismissed.", Benjamin speaks.
The group gets up and begins talking as they walk down the long hallway, towards the exit.
"Omg Nini!! This is so exciting!", Gina exclaims.
"You would be the best director!", Red cheers.
"You've always wanted to be a director!", Kourtney grins.
"I know...this is crazy. I'll definitely have to think about it though, it's a lot of work.", Nini chuckles.
As they arrive in the parking lot, they say goodbye and get into their separate cars. While Ricky begins driving towards their apartment building, he notices Nini's silence.
"Hey, you okay?", he asks.
She sighs, "Yeah, I'm fine I just- I don't want to let everybody down if I don't take the job, you know?"
"Neens it's okay if you don't wanna do it...", Ricky says.
"No- no...I mean I want to do it...I just hope I'd be able to handle it."
