They all decided to pile into Tae's car and they both helped get the kids buckled into their seats. Tae then sat in the drivers seat and Jin looked back and saw his mother waving at him from the porch. He waved back and sat in the front seat.As they drove away, the kids were talking about all sorts of things and would occasionally ask, "Appa this" or "Dada that" and Tae loved it. He missed these little moments with his beautiful family.
Jin would answer whatever questions were directed at him, and when he glanced over at Tae, he saw him smiling happily. And he was reminded of their happier times.
Just as Tae turned to look at him, Jin saw flashes of him kissing the slutty tramp and quickly looked away.
Tae's smile was suddenly wiped away and he kept his eyes on the road after that.
When they got to the park, Jin carried the baby in his arms and Tae held the other two's hands as they walked towards the playground. Jin sat the baby in the toddler seat swing and he sat next to her and pushed her.
Tae was busy playing with the older ones as they climbed on the jungle gym and ran across the wooden planks.
Jin could hear their laughter and screams and he giggled to himself when he saw Tae being pushed to walk the planks. Like a pirate criminal and the kids were loving it.
He really missed seeing Tae be so carefree and making the kids happy by playing with them. Jin knew it was because he still felt like a kid sometimes. And could connect with them on that level.
After a while the two older kids started playing by themselves and Tae slowly made his way over to Jin. They could still keep an eye on them but from a short distance.
When Tae came to sit down on the swing next to Jin, he didn't expect him to speak to him. But Jin suddenly says, "I saw that the kids took you prisoner and made you walk the plank." Then giggled as he recalled it.
Tae's heart soared to the sky and he chuckles.
"Yeah, they are brutal and are mean."
Jin giggles some more and turns to look at his daughter. She is just happy swinging and is smiling brightly.
After a stretch of silence, Tae makes the effort to speak.
"Jin, I know you are still angry and deeply hurt. But can I please make a suggestion?"
Jin immediately turned to look at him and asked, "What is it?"
"I was hoping that maybe you could join me and we could go for marriage counseling together."
Jin bursts out laughing and asks, "What? Do you really think that that would do us any good?"
"It couldn't hurt. I think it could really help."
Jin just shakes his head as he starts to swing.
"I think our marriage is worth saving Seokjin-ah. I love you. Truly love you and have never loved another, nor do I plan to. I know you have doubts about my love because of my horrible mistake.
But trust me, it was a mistake that I only needed to make once. And it just solidified my real feelings for you."
Jin remains silent, not feeling like arguing just now.
Tae then asks him, "What about you Jin? Did you stop loving me? Are you really willing to end our marriage and let us just slip away from each other forever?"
Jin then turns to angrily glare at him.
"You expect us to just go to counseling so you can tell him about everything you hated about me, about our life that led you to do the single most heartbreaking thing to me? To our marriage.. you may have had a sudden realization of how much you fucked up. But I am still fucking Angry! And I plan to stay that way.
