Act 1 - Butterfly's Dream

Two moons later...

Silkpaw stirred within the apprentices den, raised from her nest and stretched. Across from her was the black and white tom Dragonpaw, her brother, and at the far end of the den was a grey she-cat.

Silkpaw trotted over to Dragonpaw and raked her tongue over his ear. The tom shivered at the touch and flickered open his eyes.

"Wakey wakey!" Silkpaw purred, looking into his bright green eyes. Dragonpaw groaned and heaved himself upward, looking around at the stone confines of the den.

"Ugh, what? Where am I?" He groaned.

Silkpaw blanched. She had forgotten her brother sometimes got morning amnesia whenever he was hungry.

"You've forgotten? We're with CreekClan now."

Two moons ago, the six apprentices had located CreekClan and their leader, Willowstar. She had welcomes them, much to the chagrin of some warriors, like the deputy Hareleap, who didn't come off as nice.

The reason they hadn't gone back to the territories straightaway was because of two things. The first was because of hunger. This clan that lived below twoleg place struggled in finding food for everybody, and Silkpaw could see their bony ribs through their pelt.

The second reason was because of distrust. Most of the warriors in CreekClan didn't trust the apprentices and thought they were some rogues pretending to be apprentices from the clans. But Willowstar trusted them, and with some coaxing from her, the clan had started to trust them, but not so much that they would follow them into the unknown.

Silkpaw drew her tail over Dragonpaw's flank as she exited the den, which was actually a hole in the side of the underground camp. She squeezed her way out and stretched in the shadows. A white, grey and ginger apprentice wound her way up to her and circled her.

Silkpaw purred at the apprentice. She had made close friends with a CreekClan apprentice by the name of Rowanpaw. The two both had similar interests, and they got along perfectly.

"You!" A deep voice echoed across the camp. A brown and black tom was storming across to them. "Get away from her, vermin!"

"Hareleap, she wasn't doi-" Rowanpaw began, but the deputy cut her off. "Rowanpaw! You should know better! She's trying to pry CreekClan secrets out of you!" He hissed at Silkpaw.

With a final spit, Hareleap stormed away.  looked over at Silkpaw, who stood and walked toward the entrance. "I'm going hunting."

Clearink pushed her way through the bushes, revealing the burnt tree marking the territory between ForestClan and BirchClan

Clearink pushed her way through the bushes, revealing the burnt tree marking the territory between ForestClan and BirchClan. Another cat revealed herself beside her.

Dawnflight flicked her silver ears and looked over at Clearink. "You sure we're doing this?" She said quietly.

Clearink nodded. "Besides, they can't stop me. I'm a Medicine Cat."

Without waiting for a reply from the silver she-cat, she trotted away from the bushes and once she reached the cliff path, headed down without hesitation, Dawnflight in tow. But Clearink did notice Dawnflight sending a longing glance over at the BirchClan territory.

They didn't stop moving in MountainClan territory, either. Not until they reached SilverLeaf, where Clearink stepped into the hollowed out tree stump and curled up, waiting for a dream, anything from EclipseClan, but nothing about the apprentices showed up.
