(y/n)'s POV
"So, you're having boys over?" My father spoke from the other side of the island with a mug filled with coffee in his hand. He recently returned from his graveyard shift and has yet to sleep, which isn't un-normal since tonight was his night off and he likes to go fishing with his buddies when he doesn't work - hence the strong coffee tightly in his grasp. He'll just sleep the whole next day to catch up on his rest.

Josie and I nodded, "Yes, for a girls day." My best friend smiled innocently.

"But boys will be here," My dad placed the mug onto the island with a amused look in his eyes, "That doesn't sound much like a girls day to me."

I rolled my eyes as I took a bite of my french toast that he made for Josie and I, "It's nothing for you to worry about dad, one of them is even bringing his little sister with him." I smiled, feeling excited to see Ahsoka again. Not only is she incredibly cute, but she never fails to entertain me, especially when she gets on Anakin's nerves.

"Oh, I'm not worried. I trust you to behave well," He took a long gulp of his coffee and sighed with satisfaction when he dropped his empty mug down onto the marble top, "Would I know these boys? Are they from school?" He asked curiously.

I shook my head, keeping my gaze on my plate of food, "They're not from our school, but you might know them," I shrugged, they are delinquents after all.

I wasn't afraid to tell my father about that part, he's not hard headed nor does he judge people based off of mistakes, especially ones you make as a kid, or teenager. He's actually the cop that a lot of youth go to for help because he's more understanding. He doesn't tell people this, but he himself had a bit of a wild youth - I'm actually the result of one of his wild escapades. But it was my birth that made him calm down, and start thinking about his future so he could be a present father.

"Their names are Firmus Piett and Anakin Skywalker." Josie informed him as she continued eating her food and occasionally drinking her orange juice.

"What?" He instantly responded causing my head to snap up to meet his gaze.

"Do you know them?" I questioned with furrowed brows when I saw the surprised look in his eyes.

He didn't say anything for a few moments before clearing his throat and shaking his head in dismissal, "No I don't think so," He spun around to place his empty mug in the sink, "Which one are you seeing butterfly?"

I cringed at the name he insisted on calling me since I was eight when I accidentally swallowed a butterfly in the backyard. He says it lives within me, making me just as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside. It's sweet, but total bull.

"Anakin," I responded casually, "He's a sweet guy, and incredibly smart. I think you'll like him."

He nodded without turning around, "I'm sure I will - just as long as he doesn't break my baby-girls heart like the last one," He sighed heavily, "But I should get going." He faced us with a small smile, "Don is picking me up since I'm too tired to drive, and I'm pretty sure I just heard him pull up," He walked near the doorway that leads from the kitchen into the living room, grabbing a coat to protect him from the lake winds, "I'll be back later tonight."
