(Y/n)'s POV
To say that I was nervous was an understatement. I could feel my heart beating outside of my chest as I tightly gripped my clammy hands together once we pulled up to Clovis's parents house.

"Can we please just go home?" I begged, facing my dad with wide and pleading eyes.

He turned the car off, and pulled the keys from the ignition, "No, enough is enough, let's go." He gestured for me to exit the car as he pushed his door open. I quickly followed in his steps.

Once we reached the door, he rang the bell as I awkwardly stood behind him, peering over his shoulder, "Are you sure you can't reconsider this?" I whispered.

He shook his head without turning around, "Look, I may not know everything surrounding your break up, but it's obvious to me that you don't want him around and it seems he's persistent on edging himself into your life to make it more difficult. So no, I will not reconsider this, he needs to leave you alone." He snapped while barely taking a breath in-between his words.

I simply kept my mouth shut after that.

My dad is a very level headed man, so when he gets angry like this then it's best to let him do whatever he wants if you don't want to be on the other end of his rare, yet terrifying, wrath.

The white door opened, and unfortunately - Clovis is the one who answered. Which also isn't a surprise because his parents are rarely ever home, they travel a lot for work.

He furrowed his brows when his gaze landed on my dad, "Mr.(y/l/n)? What are you doing here?" He questioned before he noticed me.

I had to hold myself back from reaching over and punching him because of what he did and said today, as well as having the audacity to look at me the way he's looking at me right now - with love and regret.

He got rejected and acted out like a damn child, which I'm sure he's come to realize that. Normally with an apology, I'd forgive him, I'm a forgiving person if I believe the person is truly remorseful. But the fact that he purposely provoked Anakin to get him arrested; caused any chance of forgiveness I may have had to be thrown out of the window.

My father stepped a little to the side to block Clovis's view of me, and my view of him, "Listen Clovis, my daughter is no longer of any concern to you. You're not together anymore, so you lost any right to butt into her life," He began, his voice remaining surprisingly calm, but it's easy to tell that he was livid, "She is happily moving on, and I hear you had no problem moving on first. So leave her, Anakin, and anything to do with their relationship alone. Don't show up to her or his work, don't talk to her in the halls at school, don't show up at my house at three am to harass her on my porch. Don't provoke Anakin to get him in trouble because you know your privileged ass won't, and do not ever call my daughter a derogatory remark again," My eyes were wide at this point as I listened to my dad slowly lose his cool. I was surprised, especially with him using such strong language, but I also felt smug at the same time. I always knew I could count on my dad to have my back, "I have a shotgun, remember that. Are we clear?"

Silence.

"I said are we clear?" He repeated in a voice that was slightly raised.
