Unknown POV:
I have been watching our beloved Asher's moves for quite some time now. He seemed to have things under control for a while. Missing shipments and murders were not part of our plan, but we needed to expedite the process.
Ever since this girl has entered Asher's life, he's been distracted. His main focus has no longer been on running the gang but instead, on her. She is lovely, but she is not what he needs in his life right now. His concentration has been on the less important aspects of life; a girl, his feelings, his friends. What he needs to focus on is his power. He seems to not comprehend the height of his power right now, but we will be fixing that for him. He shall soon realize that he was born to be a leader. A ferocious, fearless, powerful leader is who he was raised to be.
Ever since the plane crash over a year ago, we have been watching him. Not only him but his enemies as well. We have kept close eyes on the Bloodhounds. When they began creating problems, we took matters into our own hands. Poor, hapless Tyson did not deserve the ending he received, but sacrifices must be made in this business. Staying on top is all that matters.
The Bloodhounds started to attempt their climb to the top, so we stole their shipments. They blamed my darling Asher, so we took their darling Tyson. They seem not to realize that there are no longer only two gangs in Hooverville. How dense of them to not even imagine an outside force being involved in this calamity. It is not difficult to put the pieces together, yet they stay ignorant.
Intelligent leaders must be the ones in power. This is why we have decided to finally end this age-old rivalry between the Bloodhounds and the Silver Snakes. To begin this process, we take Brooklyn. Brooklyn is important to both gangs, which makes her the perfect person to start with. As I've said, sacrifices must be made to stay in power. This is a sacrifice we are all more than willing to make.
We are the Scorpions and we are more than ready to claim our power and combine forces with my son's gang.

Brooklyn's POV:
Opening my eyes, I'm hit with harsh fluorescent lighting. My entire head is throbbing. I scarcely remember being hit on the back of the head with something heavy, then blacking out. I'm in an unfamiliar room, my wrists and ankles both tightly tied up to a metal chair in the middle of the room.
Despite being in a sweatshirt, I'm freezing. The room exudes an air full of fear, spreading chills across my body. The walls are a blank gray color bare of any windows or decor. I'm alone in the room, surrounded only by a table with another chair at the end. There's one metal door carved into the wall behind me. Besides that, the room is empty and cold.
My heart is racing inside my chest. Where the fuck am I? What the hell happened? My already throbbing head begins throbbing more at the number of questions running through my brain.
I pull at the restraints on my wrists and try to kick my feet, but to no avail. Why am I so weak? I couldn't open the damn door at home and I can't fucking free myself. With no other ideas, I begin yelling.
"Get me the fuck out of here! Why the hell am I here? HELP!" God damnit I wish Asher could be here right now. "Hello?" Today has been full of tears and screaming, and my raspy voice makes that obvious.
I hear locks being unlocked behind me, followed by the door loudly swinging open. To be completely honest, I'm way too petrified right now to turn around and see who it is. I hear multiple pairs of footsteps walk into the room until the woman who brought me here is walking into the chair in front of me. She's dressed in a black gown with red-bottom pumps. Okay, a little extra.
