Scarlett POV
We still haven't told Maverick about the baby and decided we all needed a trip to the beach. Aiden invited his best friend and Alpha of the pack, Scott and I decided to invite Tori.
"The sharks are going eat me mommy!" Maverick screamed since he borrowed Aiden's iPad and starting watching Jaws on Netflix and decided he can't go to the beach.
"Don't worry I'll protect you," Aiden said in a superman voice while wearing Maverick's cape which I had just washed. Sometimes Aiden acts like he is younger than Maverick.
"Alright you too. Maverick let's go put on your bathing suit. Superman, go put on your bathing suit" I said.
I grabbed Maverick's hand and walked him into his bedroom. We had painted it blue and he has Cars blankets. Just the way Maverick wanted it.
"Alright Maverick. Which bathing suit do you want to wear?" I asked
"I want to wear my Lightning McQueen bathing suit mommy" Maverick said like it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Okay baby" I said, helping Maverick into his bathing suit. After we all had our bathing suits on, we hopped in Aiden's car and drive to the beach. Tori and Scott were going to meet us there.
Twenty minutes later we arrived at the beach. We walked over to Tori and Scott and they semed to be in a heated argument.
"What's up with you two?" I asked winking at Tori.
She blushed and looked down at the sand "Nothing" They both said quickly.
We began walking and tried to find the perfect spot to set up our umbrellas, chairs and towels. Immediately after setting up, all three boys went runing to the water. Aiden picked Maverick up and threw him into the water. I could hear Mavericks excited screams and they were all laughing. I turned to look at Tori who was sprawled out on her towel.
"So Tori", I began "What happened beween you and Scott earlier?" I asked
"Ugh" She groaned "Can we not talk about him. He is a total jerk and I hate him" Tori said angrily
"Alrighty then" I replied.
The rest of the day was so much fun. We spent all day playing in the ocean, building sand castles, and Tori and I even spent some time working on our tans while the boys tried fishing. The sun was starting to set and everyone was exhausted. We were all relaxing on our towels and I moved so that I could be near Aiden. All of a sudden he stood up and pulled me with him.
"Wait here" Aiden said placing a kiss on my lips. He walked over to Maverick and Maverich handed him something. Tori and Scott were looking over at me with huge grins that looked like they knew something. What is going on? Aiden walked back over to me and handed me what Maverick gave him, which turned out to be a ring pop.
"Aiden, what?" I asked confused.
Aiden cut me off and said "Open it".
I struggled to open the wrapper, but when I finally did, there wasn't a ring pop inside. Instead, there was a little black box. I pulled out the box and just as I began to open it, Aiden got down on one knee. OH MY GOSH. He's proposing?!
"Scarlett. You are my mate. Mates are meant to be together forever. I got lucky enough to have a mate like you and I am so thankful for that. Ever since I met you, I knew. I saw myself with you. I wanted to marry you. I wanted to have kids with you, and now we are. I wanted to watch our kids grow up. I want to grow old with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and Maverick. I want to adopt Maverick as one of my own. I know we did things a little backwards, and I am so excited to be having a kid with you. Scarlett, will you spend the rest of your life with me? Will you marry me?" Aiden asked.
I was full out crying at this point. I was so happy and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with my mate. With Aiden. "Yes". I choked out.
Aiden stood up and placed the ring around my finger. The diamond was the perfect size and it was princess cut. The band had smaller diamonds around it. It was perfect and it fit perfectly. Aiden pulled me in for a long passionate kiss.
" I love you" He said after pulling away.
"I love you too" I replied
