Scarlet's POV

        A few minutes after Reece welcomed himself into the house the someone knocked on the door urgently. Shit, Maverick can't see Reece and Reece can't see Maverick. Get in the bedroom, I mouthed to Reece. Being Reece, he slapped my ass on the way in there. I took a deep breath and decided to count to 10 before opening to door but by the time I was at 4 (I skipped 3) Aiden barged into the door with Maverick. He didn't even explain why Maverick was with him but was definitely pissed off and went straight for the bedroom before I could stop him.

        "Maverick, can you wait in the hallway, please?" Aiden asked, and Maverick LISTENED. I debated waiting outside with Maverick or just bringing him into the apartment with me when I heard continous punching. I ran to the bedroom and Maverick followed me, causing Aiden to stop. 

        "Who is that?" Maverick asked disgusted and panicked. 

        "I'm your daddy," my asshole of an ex chimed in.

         "NO! I want Aiden!!" screamed Maverick, causing Aiden to stop hitting Reece mid-punch. He ran to Maverick, picked him up and carried him to the living room, setting him down. The next few seconds were suprising to all of us, but I definitely faced the most confusion.

Aiden's POV 

Maverick was halfway through his first phase, something that he can do at age 5, although I was surprised because if Reece was his father, he's only 1/2 werewolf. My first concern was getting Reece  out of the house because he was the rouge that we had spotted near the border. Maverick is his son. That's why Scarlett smells like him. I dragged him out, mind-linking my pack, which he could tell I was doing but I didn't let him escape and knew that Scarlet didn't know I was able to mind-link.

        "I'm getting custody of Maverick," screamed Reece, trying to scare Scarlet. Within minutes my Alpha was taking him to the pack jail and Scarlet was freaking out holding a little brown puppy in her lap. I gotta get Maverick to calm down so he can phase back.

        "Aiden, what's happening???" Scarlet cried, tears streaming down her face.

        "You and Maverick are moving in with me, now! Please go pack what you guys need for a couple days," I instructed.

        "Aiden I want my son!" she panicked.

        "Scarlet, I will explain eveything at my apartment, okay?" I asked. Scarlet nodded and went to pack while Maverick nudged me. 

        "Maverick, calm down okay? Take a deep breath. Everything is gonna be okay. Picture being a boy again," I said, sounding stupid but trying to dumb it down for a 5 year old who doesn't know he's a werewolf. Scarlet kneeled behind me, pressing herself against my back, encouraging the both of us. I blocked Scarlet with my body when Maverick phased back. Scarlet ran and embraced his naked body when he finally phased back, although glanced back at me. 

        "Omigod Aiden!!" She cried looking at my cuts from Maverick's phase.

        "Don't worry it will heal in a couple of minutes, I'm gonna go get Maverick clothes to change into, I want you guys to be at my house tonight," I said.
