Coming back from lunch, I throw my keys on the counter and jump on the couch letting out a sigh.
"I should probably go to my house. I have a lot of unpacking still to do, you both are welcome to stop by at anytime." Mike says as he walkes over to me. He bends down and adds on "especially you" he winks and kisses me softly. And he walks out the door.
Nikki waits to hear his car turn on before she turns to me " and what the hell was that about?"
Still staring at the door with a smile painted on my face I realized that she asked me a question. It took me a minute for me to even figure out what just happened. " What was what about?" I ask pretending nothing just went on back there.
"The kissing and the Mike. W-what about his girlfriend. I thought-"
" What girlfriend? " I said cutting her off.
" Wait so let me get this straight, Mike breaks up with you for this girl, leaves for collage, has not talked to you in 4 years, then comes back here like nothing ever happened and you just let it all happen?" Nikki rants.
"Yeah pretty much." I responded keeping it short and simple.
Nikki walks to her room and mumbled something to herself and closed her door behind her.
My parents finally came out of there room about 30 minutes after.
" Yup and I'm outta here" I say standing up and walking over to my room. I pause "Oh and Nikki came home she is in her room. Mike and I took her out for lunch, and Mike went to unpack some more. There are some leftovers in the refrigerator if you are hungry. Just thought you would want to know." I walk into my room and take out my notebook and guitar. Its song writing time.
