*Thank you to my friends Deanna and Journey for helping me out with these chapters. :) You guys are awesome!!*

"Mike I can't promise you anything" I say looking down feeling ashamed.

"Can I help?"

"Help with what? There is nothing to help me."

"Well if you ever need anyone" he looks into my eyes "I will always be here....always"

Not knowing how to respond I hug him. "I know and thank you for being here for me" these words managed to slip out of my mouth without my knowing.

When he said "your welcome" I realized what I had said.

Not wanting to let go our warm bodys continued to touch in the silence.

*ring ring*

Stupid phone, I say to myself. Mike slips out of my arms and answers it.

*Phone conversation*

Mike: hello

Jen: hey I miss you! Do you want to hang out?

Mike: Um no I'm with Bailey

Jen: Why?!?!?!?

Mike: Because we are together

Jen: Together like a couple?

Mike: yeah

Jen: What happened between us?

Mike: We broke up remember?

Jen: No?

Mike: Well we did so im going to hang out with my girlfriend now. Bye.

Mike hangs up the phone and turns to me. " Im sorry about that. It was Jen...being annoying...like always" He manages to say. I let out a laugh and smile over at him.

" That was rude how you just hung up on her like that." I say

"Yeah well she deserves it." he says rolling his eyes.

"Its still rude" I say sitting on the couch.

"Well whatever" he responds sitting next to me. He turns on the tv and I reach over and grab my guitar. Plucking the strings and making new tunes. Mike looks over at me.

"You should finish that song you showed me last night"

" I will some other time" I say back

"sooner then later" he says playfully

"Yeah maybe" I say still playing around with the strings. I stop and look around. "Your parents are awesome for buying you this house" I say

"Yeah they are pretty awesome" he says and then adds on " but not as awesome as you " he smiles and looks at me. Not even bothering to respond I just blush and smile and go back to playing with my guitar.
