Harry's POV:
Harry Potter's foot had been tapping the floor all day. He'd been counting down the seconds till he'd get to see Dragon again.
Of course, Harry was always looking forward to seeing Dragon. But today? More so than usual.
Because last night, they had accepted one another as mates.
Because last night, they'd had their first kiss.
And because last night, Harry had realized he loved Dragon.
Harry could feel the bond between them was stronger. And all his attention was solely on when he'd get to see Dragon again.
His whole body itched to fly off, following Dragon's alluring sent.
But Harry couldn't. Not yet. Dragon wouldn't want that. Dragon wasn't ready for Harry to know his identity yet, and if Harry ran off to him, then he'd find out who Dragon was to the rest of the world.
And so, Harry counted down the seconds till he'd see Dragon again. He had done the math. (Though math wasn't his strong suit, and he was also heavily distracted, so he wasn't positive his calculations were accurate.) But, if Harry was right, there were thirty two thousand, four hundred, and twenty-nine seconds until he'd get to see Dragon again.
Ugh.
Harry wasn't sure he'd make it.

Still Harry's POV
It was dinner time, and Harry was practically bouncing with excitement.
After dinner, lots of Gryffindors, including Harry and his friends, would return to their common room, where they'd talk, play a round of chess, or do some homework. Then, around 8:45, Harry would say he was tired, and that he was going to bed.
He'd go up to his dorm, bunch his blankets into the rough shape of a sideways human, and close the curtains around his bed. If anyone looked, they'd see the shadow of the blankets through the curtain, and assume it was Harry's sleeping form.
After that, Harry would take out his invisibility cloak, and leave his dorm. He'd then go down to the common room, and wait for someone to either leave or enter it. Once the door opened for some Gryffindor, Harry'd quickly slip out before the portrait swung shut.
Next, Harry'd practically run to Dragon and his' meeting spot.
Today however, Harry was planning to "go to bed" around 8:30pm, instead of 8:45. Harry would happily do it as early as 8, or even 7, if he didn't think people wouldn't question him going to bed that early. Especially since in Harry's previous years at Hogwarts, he had made a habit of going to bed late. Harry'd even done quite a few all-nighters, back in the day.
And so, Harry sat, fingers tapping on the arm of his chair in the common room, waiting for 8:30pm to arrive.
At 8:28, Harry couldn't stand waiting a second longer, so he decided to finally proclaim he was going to bed.
As usual, most people looked at their watches after Harry's statement, seeing if it had really become so late that it was time for bed. Upon seeing that it was quite early in the evening, as per usual, Gryffindors began to look at who was going to bed so early.
Then they saw it was Harry. And no one protested. For the first week or so that Harry had started his whole going-to-bed-early-but-still-somehow-waking-up-as-late-as-possible-and-looking-exhausted-but-happy-all-day schedule, people had questioned him.
Now? Well they had gotten used to it.
Well, most of them had. Hermione still found it in her to be suspicious. Damn that girl's intelligence and persistence. She knew something was up, and she would not drop it for the life of her. It was really getting annoying.
