No Love Allowed (LxLight&LightxL)

Chapter 1

                *L's Point Of View*
  Its been a while since he's done anything suspicious but I can't let my guard down. He can strike at any moment. I glance over at him. He always seems to be staring off into space. I wonder whats on his mind. Could he be planning something? What would he be planning? Perhaps he is focused on the Kira case and is brainstorming. It amazes me that he would go through such drastic measures just to clear his name and is still under suspicion. We have been chained for what seems like forever but, I can never loosen up to him.We shower,eat,and sleep together.I'm basically with him 24/7. We share some humor with each other sometimes, and work great together, yet I can't shake off the terrible thought that he's Kira. He is friendly, intelligent, and great person as from my point of view but, that behavior is only normal for a deciever, someone who could perhaps be Kira.

    I can't seem to gather my thoughts correctly when he's around.It almost like he knows what I'm about to say before it comes out of my mouth. Light Yagami,how do you do it?

My thoughts suddenly vanish as I come back to reality .Light is waving a hand in my face and calling my name repetitively."Ry-u-za-ki"Light sounds out loudly as if he was talking to a child.

"Huh?'What is it?"I blink my eyes innocently covering the fact that I was refocusing them.

"You've been staring at me for the last 20 minutes"Light pauses"'I was wondering if you were OK"

"My apologies.I was merely in a deep thought." 

L sighs and fixes his posture on his chair and focused his attention back on to the computer in front of him. He hadn't slept for days and his body was running on coffee and sugar.He was surprised that Light could suppress any longer and not complain.

Thump!L's head snaps sideways to only see that Light had fallen asleep on top of the keyboard. L could easily see that Light was clearly exhausted and needed rest. He shook Light's arm gently trying to wake him up. "Light-kun you must wake up"he urged. Light stirred in his chair and after a few more shakes he picked his head up off the keyboard.

"Light-kun must be exhausted.Why not get some rest?"L suggests.

"Sure"Light replies drowsily.

They both get out of their seats and make their way towards the bedroom. Once they get to the bedroom Light had already rushed under the covers and L hadn't even gotten onto the bed yet. L plopped a next to Light and tried to get comfortable but, Light had his back turned to him and was already asleep. The chain was holding L's arm in a uncomfortable position and L was beginning to feel restless. He slowly curled up in a ball on the bed and scooted closer to Light making the chain a bit more looser. L should have felt very awkward about being so close to Light but,he kinda got used to it. He closed his eyes tightly and tried to fall asleep.
