"Inuulit ko, kanino ito?" mommy asked while holding it tightly, hiding a slight bit of annoyance in the tone of her voice.
I said nonchantly while pointing my finger to Soledad. Sana makuha ka sa tingin.
"Oh, that explains why." matamtamang sagot niya habang may pangungutiya sa mata.
"Anyways, we came here--it's because, death anniversary ng kapatid ko. You guys should come with us." my mother said, glaring at me.
Oh so it became my fault now? That they didn't say it beforehand?!
"Well, I don't know. We're kind of busy and Tito Marseille will understand from above." I hesitated, turned and walked to the window where busy cities flashed into my eyes.
She stepped closer to me, "Well if he can understand, I can't. I won't accept no for an answer. Get ready by 10."
"Let's not make things difficult. They're watching," while reaching the sides of me, she snapped and whispered something out of blackmail and went outside our apartment as fast as they could.
"You guys . . . are broken and miserable-and I can understand why." Soledad said with a matter of fact while recooking the side dishes that were made by me yesterday.
Is this what I really want in life? To become miserable? But, I just wanted to help. Why is this so hard?
"What's wrong?" Aeolus hugged me and smelled my scent little by little.
"Something is bugging me." I replied, not sure why.
His hand reached my hair and carefully caressed it, comforting me, "Hmm, then how can I help?"
"Maligo ka nga muna!" I whined to switch topics, and it was a successful move.
"What? I don't stink!
"Sometimes, all I can say is-kelan kaya?!" Drome sniggered while arranging the plates.
"W-what? We're good, right?" paniniko pa niya sa kaibigan.
"Ano?
I shouted while finding something from my purse. It was a letter from Tito Marseille, that's supposed to be distributed to Tita Isabella.
