Vic had just gotten a promotion at the bank he worked at. The money was great, but that meant less time at home with his beloved husband, Kellin.
At first, Kellin was fine with the distance. The space gave them a chance to collect themselves. But after awhile, things got lonely.
Kellin knew Vic was trying his best to make up for the distance. He'd cuddle with Kellin on his days off, but would have to work on extra paperwork later that day, which drove the green eyed boy nuts.
Soon, Kellin's mind decided to take advantage of the loneliness.
"Maybe I'm not worth his time." Kellin whispered to no one in particular.
He glanced in the mirror and his eyes fell down to his stomach and thighs.
"Oh that's why."

Since then, Kellin had stopped eating. He ate a tiny bit to get him by, but not enough to give his body the nourishment he needed. One day, Vic was at the table eating the dinner that Kellin had cooked up for him.
"Hey babe, aren't you gonna come eat?" Vic called to the living room where Kellin was sat. He was trying not to move as much since he'd been feeling nauseous all day.
"No, I already ate earlier. I'm just gonna put this laundry up!"
Kellin barely made it up the stairs before his eyes rolled back and his body fell limp. Upon hearing this thump, Victor ran up the stairs to see what happened.
He gasped as he saw Kellin's frail body and fumbled with his phone to call 911.
"Please help, my fiancé just collapsed." He sobbed, hoping the paramedics would hurry.

Kellin's eyes opened despite the bright lights and his eyes locked with the deep brown orbs that belonged to Vic.
"Oh god Kells. They said you're lucky to be alive." He cried, burying his face into Kellin's lap.
"Huh?"
"Kellin, your body failed due to malnutrition. Baby, why didn't you tell me that you had an eating disorder?"
Kellin's mouth grew dry and he felt like blowing his brains out.
"I-I uh..."
"Was it to get my attention? To harm yourself to make me notice?" Vic interrogated, sounding angry now.
"No! I thought I wasn't worth your time because of my fat. You barely notice me now." Kellin admitted, making Vic to pull his into a hug.
"I'm so sorry, Darling. I promise that we'll make it through this." Vic whispered, causing Kellin to smile fondly at the the engagement band on his left hand.
"I know we will."
