Chapter 7

When I woke up I tried to move but I felt so tired and my head was hurting. When I looked up I saw Topper next to the bed, I don't what happened or why he was here but I felt happy to see him. "What happened ?" I asked with a tired voice, he took my hand "You felt really hard on the ground I guess, I was on my way to the beach when I saw u laying on the ground. How are you feeling now y/n ?" he said with a calm voice, I smiled at him 'Yeah just feeling tired and my head hurt but i'll be good" "You want to eat something? My mom cooked and we have some food left over" he asked and I nodded to let him know that I'd like to. "Stay in bed, I'll be right back" he kissed my forehead and leaved to the kitchen.

I sat on the bed on the bed while he entered the room, Topper seemed worried like I was gonna break if i move so I smiled at him to reassure him. He sat on the bed next to me and gave me the plate, I ate taking my time while he was practically staring at me who surprisingly felt comfortable.

 After I finished eating, I told him I wanted to shower which he agreed to and helped me get up. He prepared everything in his bathroom and told me to leave the door slightly open so he wouldn't worry too much about me. 

I got out of the bathroom with just a towel, he looked at me embarrassed "Oh yeah the clothes, sorry" he said while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly, he went to his wardrobe and gave me change to get dressed. He turned his back which made me laugh "You want me to change in here ?" I said "Yeah if you want to" he responded. I said "Okay" and changed quickly, I went for a hug after which scared him at first because he didn't know I was done. After this we went into his bed and cuddled "I'm sorry if I ever hurted you or else, I didn't mean it. I can be an asshole sometimes but I do love you y/n" he said while playing with my hair "I'm sorry too and I love you Topper. Every moment I spend with you make me the happiest" I said smiling, he kissed me and it made me remember of how his kisses are the best. That night was perfect, I'll forever remember the feeling of falling asleep in his arms and how caring he can be.

I woke up the next day feeling better, waking up next to Topper was the best thing ever "Good morning y/n" he said when he catched me staring at him "Good morning" I said back smiling. We stayed against each other without moving for some good minutes. "I'll tell the boys that we are together" he said "I'll tell Sarah too then" I said hesitant. "Let's get breakfast" he said while getting up of the bed, I followed him to the kitchen while holding his hand.

We spent the morning together until I decided to go speak to sarah which Topper agreed to it and said he'll do the same with rafe and kelce, I wasn't scared of kelce reaction but of what rafe might said.

I arrived at the cameron's house and knocked on the door, Sarah went opening and smiled at me "You finally here y/n, I was so worried since you left without a word" I smiled at her "Yeah something happen but it's all good, actually we need to talk about something else" "Yeah come in" she said so I entered and she closed the door after me "Let's go to my room" she said taking my hand to make me follow her.

She sat on her bed "So what's up ?" she asked "It's about Topper" I said while sitting next to her "Him and I are together sarah" I looked at her, she seemed angry "What ? That's impossible, you wouldn't do that to me and him too" "Sarah what did you expected ? You told me so many time of how exhausted of him you were and that was the reason of why you hooked up with john b. I'm not doing anything, I just love him and that's what he needs, someone who loves him and care about his feelings too" I said trying to make her understand that I did nothing wrong "But you are my best friend, how could you y/n?" "Sarah not everything is about you, I always putted you first and it's time for me to think about myself for once, this is unfair that when you play with Topper feelings it's okay but when I tell you that I love him and that we are happy, you seem jealous. I don't want to fight, I just want to be honest with you an you should know that I care about your feelings too but you clearly don't love Topper so why aren't you happy for me ?" Sarah looked life she had nothing to say so I got up ready to leave "Wait you're right y/n, I'm jealous because in some way I feel like you are betraying me. I'll try to be happy for you" I turned back to her and smiled "Thank you, love you Sarah" I said before leaving.
