11. The Beginning of His Ending

' I am doing this for myself ...' Beomgyu jerked in surprise when the school bell blared through the speakers jolting him out of the revolting thoughts swimming inside his head the entire day . What did he even meant ? Beomgyu wondering cluelessly as he recalled the argument with Taehyun the day before . Mindlessly , he pulled his bag up and ambled toward the exit of the school when a huge hand engulfed his shoulder making him jump . Jaesun stood behind him along with a few of his friends and Beomgyu almost lost his mind when the other flashed him a small smile , it was disgustingly fake . 

" Hey Beomgyu sorry to interrupt you but by any chance do you where Taehyun is ? He wasn't there in school today . " 

Beomgyu frowned on hearing the question a crease already forming on his forehead as he regarded all those boys doubtfully . He panicked when his eyes met Jaesun's , his dark gaze never fails to make a cold shiver run through his spine . He gulped nervously , a hurtful pang ringing through his heart at the thought of blonde as he mumbled lowly , " How would I know ? Why are you even asking me about him . " 

" Why not ? You two seemed to be pretty close friends . We assumed  you may know about whereabouts of Taehyun . "  Daehyun blurted out from behind Jaesun who shot him a sharp glare . Beomgyu eyes widened as he found himself at a complete loss of words , his eyes wandered around to the rest of the guys who were scrutinizing him with their curious gazes . He flickered his eyes  away and locked them to the floor as he stuttered  " No I don't have any idea where he is . " 

" Well that's not a problem . Thanks nonetheless . " Jaesun remarked and Beomgyu waited for them to leave now but that never happened . Rather he heard Jaesun addressing him once again , " By the way if you want , you can actually join us for a small party . We were just heading there .  It will be fun , the more the merrier . " 

Bemgyu was flabbergasted  , his silverish eyes popped open in bewilderment  as a strange feeling crept into his stomach the longer he stared at Jaesun's grinning face . His tongue was dry like sawdust when he managed to stuttered, " I can't ...there are some assignments to be completed . Sorry ..." 

Keeping his eyes downcast , he hurriedly slipped from between Jaesun's friends and  went to a full on sprint to disappear away from Jaesun's line of sight , Beomgyu believed that a hand huge hand will mystically appear from thin air and drag him again toward the school . Jaesun was acting like a whole new person and it was nerve wracking ,  Beomgyu preferred his devilish smirk rather than the fake tight lipped smile that shadows all his true intentions beneath it.  

Questionably, Beomgyu stopped dead on his track just a few metres away from the school's iron gates . All the noises and endless chatters in his head slowed down into a deaf silence when his eyes landed on him standing at a distance . Taehyun had his backside turned towards Beomgyu , only his tousled blonde hair visible and was clad in a casual attire that consisted of a pair of black oversized hoodie and jeans . He constantly kept turning his head in different directions as he lingered close . ' It's me '  Beomgyu thought , ' He is looking for me .' 

Jaesun and his lackeys crossed him once again on their way , Beomgyu mind was blank as a paper and he glared wide eyed at Jaesun who flashed him a small smile before proceeding to depart . In that flash Beomgyu's reacted rashly before his mind could analyse his decision . 

" Wait !! "

They all halted and turned behind , their faces reflecting each other's  expressions of surprise when Beomgyu whispered , 

" Can I join you even now ? " 

The boys glanced shockingly at one another , it was Jaesun who greeted with with a wide beaming smile showcasing all his sharp teeth . He threw his arm around Beomgyu's shoulder who clenched his teeth in response while forcing himself not to recoil away from Jaesun . The latter exclaimed  ,
