14 . Loving You Is A Losing Game

Beomgyu was winding down the path to his school the next morning , his body feeling as light as a gentle breeze but his a stinging ache lingering in his head . He stopped a distance away , his eyes widening when his gaze landed on Jaesun swarming close by the school's gate along with his friends . All his unheard questions came rushing back  in full force and his lips moved on their accord as he shouted ,

" Jaesun !! "

They all halted , turning behind to stare at Beomgyu while Jaesun's feline eyes pierced into him with something disguised in those smoky black orbs . As Beomgyu took a step further in their direction , Jaesun scuffled through the gates and slipped into the school  followed by his baffled friends  who too fleeted away .

A creased formed on Beomgyu's forehead as he gaped at the boys in confusion , his silver eyes narrowing in suspicion . He immediately took off and chased after them sprinting through the corridors dotted with students .  

Beomgyu practically crashed into their class that was almost shaken off its hinges when he staggered inside , his grey eyes darting around the class hurriedly . Their class teacher shuddered in shock , screaming at Beomgyu angrily her shrill voice was pushed at the back of his mind as he glared at Jaesun . The other sideglanced at Beomgyu but then he stared behind at someone , and after that quickly shuffled back straight on his seat . 

Beomgyu furrowed his eyebrows , his lips pursing confusingly as he followed Jaesun's gaze and found his silver eyes upon a tuft of ruffled blonde hair . Taehyun was there staring at Jaesun from behind, his amber eyes burning hot with something Beomgyu can't put a finger on . 

Beomgyu  mindlessly sauntered in and sat upon his seat , a strange and unpleasant feeling simmering inside his chest . Something isn't right .

Jaesun leaped and sprinted out of the classroom before anyone else after the school bell chimed . Beomgyu eyes widened in surprise as he hastily shoved his belongings into his backpack and dashed after Jaesun . He was quick to observe how the other pointedly ignored him the entire day , he will not let him slip away this time . At the intersection outside their school , Jaesun finally slowed down not realising that he was being followed and Beomgyu instantly pounched on him .  

Beomgyu grabbed Jaesun's arm , his hand clammy from sweat  as he shouted breathlessly ," Why are you avoiding me , what happened will somebody fucking tell me something?? " 

Jaesun was startled , his feline eyes blowing wide as he gaped at the other . He tried wiggling away  from Beomgyu's hold but failed . Nervously , he flickered his eyes to Beomgyu whose was was burning with determination and an underlying desperation as he tightened his fingers around him . Jaesun let out a defeated sigh and whispered grimly ,

" Taehyun hasn't told you already ....well I think you shouldn't be here with me . Please leave . "

"  What the hell do you mean , why does nobody explains me what is going on . I don't remember a damn thing . I beg you Jaesun ,  speak !! " 

Jaesun's dark eyes glinted dangerously for a minute second as he inhaled a deep breath preparing himself for all the lies that were about to roll out from his tongue , 

" That night , I am not sure whether you recall that scarlet haired bartender , he .... " 

" Yes I do , Daniel  was his name . What about him . " 

A rush of excitement anf malice gripped Jaesun who tried very hard to suppress a smile from blossoming on his face as he muttered in a thickly , " That night Daniel had secretly mixed some drugs into your drink ...."
