12. Use Me Like A Drug

Beomgyu was momentarily blinded by the flashy neon lights hung over the lavish entrance door of the club they all have just stumbled upon . He had started regretting his choice when the longer he stared at that grey , shady building and seriously considered fleeting away from there right there and then . Emotions are bound to mess up with our rational thinking , Beomgyu  realized . And the trigger of those emotions is bound to mess up with our heart as well as head . The question was why that trigger had to be Taehyun .

The raven haired shuddered in shock when Jaesun nudged him forward urging him to move . He has lost his chance to escape . Relentlessly , he trudged closer to the crystal clear glass doors and his breath hitched in panic when he stole a peek inside . The club was enveloped in darkness only illuminated by a thin fog of amber lighting . 

Jaesun glanced at Beomgyu from the corner of his eyes , a secretive smile dancing across his lips as he leaned down and whispered , " Loosen up , trust me you'll have fun . " Beomgyu stiffened , not liking the proximity between  them as he gave  the other a quick nod and in cue Jaesun pushed the door open exposing  the interior of that club . 

The club was packed , Beomgyu traced the outlines of a few bodies grooving to the slow , jazz music chiming inside while the others were nestled comfortably on the couches . He scrunched his nose distastefully as foul stench of alcohol reeked in the air mingled with sweat and smoke . It was suffocating and unnerving for Beomgyu as he navigated his way through the sea of those drunken people , many bumped into him on his way towards the bar where the crowd was thinner in comparison . 

Beomgyu almost collapsed onto the stool , his legs giving up as he slumped over his seat . His heart was pounding anxiously as he gasped heavily for breath, his skin itching unpleasantly with sweat glistening his face and neck . His social anxiety was worsening , he could feel it from the way his throat was closing around his windpipe cutting his air supply short . 

" Hey , what happened ? Are you ok ...."  That deep slurry voice pulled Beomgyu out from his distorted thoughts and he gazed at a guy with bright red hair flicked sideways revealing his  blueish eyes that were swirling with concern . Beomgyu stumbled for words , his grey eyes widening as he stuttered , " I ...I........"

" Its ok , relax first . Here drink some water . " The guy whispered softly and handed Beomgyu a  glass of water that he gulped down and sighed contentedly , cold liquid washing over his parched throat . His nerves began ticking in uneasiness again as he gingerly lifted his eyes to gaze at the other . The red haired guy flashed him a consolatory  smile and commented , 

" Your first time here right ? I can understand , the places like these aren't meant to appease everyone . You know , a bunch of drunken rowdies dancing like wild animals ....it , it can be questionable . But I can keep you company if you don' think I am a weirdo or something . " 

 The scarlet haired paused midway when Beomgyu let out a low tingly laugh while his body loosened up as he visibly relaxed .  He was disappointed when that musical laughter  died down way too sooner as the boy flickered his striking grey eyes to him and whispered sheepishly  , 

" Well , Thanks ..."

A beaming smile graced the scarlet haired's plump lips as his heart warmed up from the sincerity of that boy's gratitude , most people don't really mean it nowadays . He shuffled closer to the bar's counter standing straight across from Beomgyu and chirped brightly , " No problem , by the way I work as a bartender here and you can call me ......" 

" Daniel !! "

Both of them were startled from the sharp booming voice , the scarlet haired frowned as saw Jaesun tramping towards the bar's counter , his leashed pet dogs slash friends behind him . The scarlet haired let out an inaudible curse his mood souring unpleasantly at the sight of Jaesun . Honestly , he had never liked the other although they were never on bad terms . He just believed that this fellow can't be trusted , yeah he knew that everybody in this business is faulty but Jaesun is an complete asshole.
