Chapter 27

She's my anchor

~Jughead's POV~

Last few days were hard for me . I have been sad , angry , and frustrated. I have not slept or eaten properly for a few days . I've been working my ass off  on this case. The only thing which is keeping me sane is Betty . She's my anchor . She surprised me with breakfast in bed. She made me my favorite breakfast.  She also arranged a date . Maybe in some fancy restaurant . 

 I'm getting ready for the date , at home . Betty is still at work , I guess.  I decided to wear a suit . 

I got ready . Then I got a text from Betty .

Betts❤😍: Hey jug , I got off late from my shift so I'm gonna get ready here . Don't worry, I had already asked Toni to pick up my dress from home . So you have to pick me up from the wyrm . 

Juggie👑❤: Don't worry betts I'll pick you up

Betts❤😍: Ok see you soon . Love you❤

Juggie👑❤: love you ❤ .

I hop on my motorcycle and drive to the wyrm . I reached the wyrm and texted her that I'm waiting outside.  She said she had asked Veronica if we could borrow her car and she said yes . So I parked my motorcycle. And was waiting for her near the gate . After a few moments a blonde beauty walks through the door . My eyes wide and my  jaw dropped on the  floor . I swear to god my heart skip a beat . Everything went blur . The only person I could see was her . She was wearing a beautiful black dress. Her hair was touching her shoulders. God she is so beautiful. I could feel my pants tighten.  

She came to me and smiled . J-"Wow…...oh god ." She laughed at my reaction. She puts her finger under my chin and closes my mouth. I snapped out of my thoughts and cleared my throat . I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to me and softly said J-" God betts , you look  gorgeous. " She blushed and said B-"You look handsome too jug." She said, biting her lip . I smiled and pulled her into a sweet but passionate kiss. We pull away smiles spread across both of our faces . We were both staring at each other's eyes . B-" We should keep moving or we will get late ."  J-" ok lets go ." We sat in the car , drove away . Betty was driving of course . I can't help but stare at her . She looked so beautiful

 After 15 minutes we stopped at a restaurant. It was an Italian restaurant near the border of Riverdale. She parked the car in the parking lot and we got out of the car . J-"Betts you really don't have to do this ." I said while walking to her side .
 B-" Of course I have to . "   J-" But I'm the boyfriend, I should set up dates for us ." 
B-" Jug it's not a rule that only boyfriends can  set up dates or bring presents . Now come on ."  She grabbed my hand and started walking.  I slowly intertwined our fingers . We went to the reception . ( R- is for the receptionist ) 
R-" Hello mam, how may I help you. " 
 B-" Hey . I have a reservation under my name Betty Copper. "  R- '' Yes mam , your table is ready . Let me show you ."  We followed the receptionist. She led us to our table . R-" So mam , this is your table ." She said , gesturing to the table . It was a candle light dinner. And It also had a beautiful view . R-" I'll send a waiter to take your order  ." She continued with a sweet smile . B-" Thank you. " R-" Your welcome. Enjoy your dinner"  she said and let us be alone.  We sat down . It was really beautiful. B-" So do you like it ?" 
J-" I love it . "  I said . That smile never left our face . J- I love you ."  B-" I love you ." 

We had our dinner.  It was delicious.  I tried to pay the bill but Betty didn't let me . Right now Betty is driving and we are going somewhere. I asked her where we were  going, but she said it's a surprise. J-" Next time I'm paying. " I was still arguing about the bill . B-" We'll see that Jones. "  she said with a smirk on her face . 

After driving for a few minutes she parked the car in front of the Five Seasons. J-" Betty why are we here ?" I asked . B-" I thought after all that stress a night at Five Seasons wouldn't hurt ." She said with a playful smirk . I cupped her cheeks and pulled her into a kiss . She placed her hands on my hands. The kiss got heated and we started making out in the car . Betty pulled away , we both were breathing heavily.  B-" Let's continue this in the room." I smirk . We got out of the car , took our keys from the reception . Betty had a bag in her hand  . J-" What's in the bag?"  I asked as we entered our room .
 B-" It's  a surprise for you ."  She said as she closed the door behind . B-" Wait here ." She said and went into the bathroom.  I took off my blazer and opened a few buttons of my shirt . While she was in there I looked around the room . The room was decorated with candles and rose petals . It was so romantic. 

After a few minutes Betty shouted from the bathroom.  B-" Jug, close your eyes !" 
  J-" Why?!"  B-" Just do it !"  I sigh and say J-"Ok!" I closed my eyes . I heard the bathroom door open B-"Now open them ." Betty said in a seductive voice . I slowly open my eyes and My God . She was standing there seductively in very sexy lingerie.  

She walked to me seductively. B-" So do you like the surprise ?" She asked while standing in between my legs and placing her hand s on my shoulder. I lick my lips and placed my hands on her waist . I looked her up and down and said J-" Well this is the best present I could wish for ."  B-" Yeah?" she said biting her lip J-"yeah" I said and pulled a little closer.  She giggle and pushed me back on the bed and climbed on top of me . Let's just say we ended up having multiple rounds and no sleep.
