Chapter 30

Got Him  

~Jughead's POV~ 

I've been trying to contact Betty since this morning. It has started to get dark . She's not home yet . I spent my last night at the wyrm . My dad came back from Toledo in the morning . This morning I went to Pops to get breakfast for me and Betty.  But when I reached home I couldn't find her . I checked at wyrm . But she's not there either.  I tried calling her but her phone is off . I called Veronica and Kevin but they said they haven't talked to her  since yesterday.  

I went back to the wyrm . I saw Toni , I made my way to her . J-" Hey Toni have you seen Betty ?"  T-" No , I hadn't talked to her  since last night . Why ? What happened ?"   J-" She's not at home . I've tried calling but her phone is off . " I said disappointingly.  T-" Did you check at Coppers? Maybe she went there looking for you ." J-" No . I'll check it out . Thanks"   I said, running out of the wyrm and hopping on my motorcycle.  

I reached the Coppers.  I went to open the door but it was already open . I think someone had broken in  .  I slowly open the door and step inside . There was a little blood on the floor . And there was a broken phone . I picked it up, it was Betty's phone . 

There were some noise coming from somewhere.  I looked around a little and it was coming from the basement.  I texted my dad to come here with the serpents. I went a little closer to the basement. 
A man was talking to someone. ?-"Yeah she's unconscious…….I beat the shit out of her." I knew it was Hal and he's talking about Betty . My blood was boiling at this point . How Dare He Touch Her .  I somehow calm myself down . I got a text from my dad that he's outside .  Hal suddenly stopped talking.  I think he heard the sound of my notification.  I went up . I saw my dad standing there with Sweet pea,  Fangs , Toni and Joaquin.  I explained to them what the situation was.  And we made a plan . 

~Betty's POV~ 

I was woken up by someone throwing water at me .H-" Wake up you little bitch ." I slowly opened my eyes . Everything was a little blurry. And I was dizzy  . H-" You're little Boy Toy must be looking for you. "  I slowly looked up . H-" Oh so you're awake . Good now tell me something,  who should I kill first, your  Boy Toy or my very old childhood friend, hmm…." He said while thinking H-" It's a little confusing. Or should I first torture them and then kill them ."   B-" Don't you even think to lay a finger on Jughead or FP ."  I said weakly H-" Ohh the little bitch has spoken ." He said, grabbing my hair harshly.  I whimpered.  H-" You know I've been thinking that you would be the first one on my kill list." He growled near my ear . I smirked a little and said B-" I think you should care about yourself first. " 

There was a loud bang and the door fell down . And Jug and The Serpents storm in . 
Hal looked behind. You can see the fear in his eyes . I smirk and said B-"Told you" 

Jug came forward and punched Hal right in the face . He was about fall down but Jug grabbed him up by his collar and shouted 
J-" HOW DARE YOU , YOU TOUCH HER !!"  Jug punched him again . And he fell down on the ground . Jug hovered above him and started punching him while cursing J-" YOU BASTARD!!"  . He was punching him non stop . After a few moments Sweet pea and Fangs pulled Jug away from him . Jug was still angry and was trying to get out of there hands. B-" Jug stop . We have to keep him alive ."  I said  . Jug looked at me , his face softened . He calmed down . Jug got out of there hands  and came to me . He kneeled down in front of me and put his hands on my cheeks . J-"Betts are you okay ?"  I can see he was very worried and his eyes were getting watery . I smiled and said B-" Yeah I'm fine . Because you are here ." He smiled back and untied me . And hugged me tightly J-" I'm sorry…...I'm so sorry . I couldn't protect you ."  He said softly in my ear . I pulled back and cupped his cheeks and said B-" Hey it was not your fault , okay...you saved me . "  I said softly and pecked his lips.  
We were staring deep into each other's eyes , when someone clears their throat. F-"you guys do realize that we're still here right ?" T-" Get a room ." Toni and Fangs commented. FP , Sweet pea and Joaquin chuckled . 

I slowly stand up and look behind Jug . Hal was lying on the floor unconscious with a bloody face .  B-" Oh my god ." I gasped a little looking at Hal's face . B-" Is he still alive?" I continued.  FP chuckled and said FP-" Yeah he's still alive.  I checked. "  
B-" So what are we gonna do with him ?" 
 SP-"Well FP decided that he wants to deal with himself. "  I looked at FP and asked 
B-'' Are you sure ?" FP-" Yeah you guys have helped me enough . Now I want to deal with him myself. " I nodded.  FP-"Jug take her to hospital and take good care of her ."  J-" Yes dad."  Jug said and picked me up bridal style. He took me to the hospital . They said that I have to spend a night there . Jug decided to stay with me . I tried to send him home but he refused to go back .
