I wake up to the sun, with a smile on my face. I make the bed and head down the stairs. Im thirsty so i look around the house to see if there is any sigh of water. Nope. I walk out side to the side of the house. I stop dead in my tracks when i see a truck parked on the side of the road. I walk back around the house and walk straight in to the living room. I sit down on the floor and look at all the stuff i have. I could use the meal rod as a weapon if anyone try's anything. I love to draw so there that. I finally decided that its time to check the traps.
All the traps were filled so i don't need to set them back up for a while now. I cook some food and put out the fire. I walk in to the house and grab the pencils and the note pad and head up to the room I'm sleeping in. I sat down on the bed i made and pictured in my mind what would Jack look like now, and then I drew him. It started to drizzling out side so i ran in to the shed and looked for a bucket and i found one . I washed it out and then let the rain fill it with the water i need. I sat in the rain and let the drops hit my body, letting it calm me.
After a while i went back in side and dried off. I sat down on the bed that i made and let my mind drift off. I wonder what Jack was doing right now and if he's okay. I wonder if he would ever recognize me if he saw me. Would he run over and hug me? Would he walk away? Does he still even care or even thank about me?
My thoughts were intruded by the sound of a truck door shutting. I froze on the spot, nit knowing what i should do. So I waited and thats when the door to the house opened and close. The sound of heavy boots walking across the floor and up the stairs. I waited to see my father step in to the door frame. But he didn't. It wasn't the face of a mutterer. No, his eyes were kind, he was tall, a look of confusion but a hint of hope and happiness, his brown hair. We looked in to each others brown eyes.
