Newt- I don't wanna sleep!

I was dancing around the bonfire with Teresa, singing at the top of our lungs. A bottle of moonshine in one hand and a stick for a microphone in the other.

We finished our song and collapsed to the ground laughing, just as the sun started to come up. So I headed back to my hut, Newt still in bed, and changed clothes. When I finished, Newt was gone, so I thought he went to breakfast.

I headed to breakfast myself, and got some bacon from Fry. Though he glared at me? I shrugged it off, and sat down with Minho, Thomas and Newt.

"Hi" I smiled.

They all just glared at me.

"What? Is something wrong?"

"Is something wrong?" Thomas repeated " Not just the fact you've kept the whole glade up, for three days now! Not to mention you've possessed my girlfriend into it!"

"I haven't had a minute of sleep" Minho complained " You really need to control your girlfriend Newt"

"Trust me, it's easier said than done, she's uncontrollable" Newt responded.

"Funny, I'm pretty controllable when your railing m-"

He covered my mouth with his hand and scowled at me.

"Right, I think we'll let you two work it out then" Minho said " Me and Thomas have a run to do, if we don't fall asleep and get killed by a greiver"

They left the table, leaving just me and Newt.

"That's it!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me up "You're going to bed, now!"

"Uhhh but Newt we did that yesterday!" I complained.

"No, not that, you're going to sleep" He dragged me towards our hut.

"Nooooo! I don't wanna sleep! Newt!"

I tried to wriggle away, and gor my wrist lose, but before I could run anywhere, he grabbed my waist and picked me up, carrying me.

"Nooo Newt!"

"What's going on here?" Alby asked as we last him.

"I'm putting her to bed"

"Alby! Help me!" I begged.

"I'll help, let's get her into bed" Alby smirked.

"What! You traitor Alby!"

Alby opened the door so Newt could carry me in, and plonked me on the bed, having to hold me down so I couldn't escape.

"I don't wanna sleep!" I thrashed.

"Y/n, you will sleep, if it's the last thing I bloody do"

"NO!"

He sighed, and climbed into bed next to me. Pulling me onto him, and holding my head down gently onto his chest, stroking my hair.

"I don't want to!" I complained.

"Shhh it's ok, just close your eyes"

I felt my eyelids become heavy, so I closed them.

Newt's pov

I looked down to see she had fallen asleep, breathing sweetly, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"Ok, Newt, you don't have to work today just make sure you don't move" Alby whispered.

"Trust me I won't, I haven't slept in days, I'll probably end up falling asleep too" I whispered back.

"Ok good-"

Thomas entered the room, then say Y/n and put a hand over his mouth.

"Zart told us you were in here, we came back to tell you something" He said in a hushed tone.

"Ok, just be quiet" Alby told him.

"YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT WE FOUND!" Minho burst in.

"SSSHHHHHH!" We all hushed.

"Mmm" Y/n sat up rubbing her eyes.

"Oh well done Minho!" I sighed " look what you've done!"

"What did we find?"

"Nothing, love, just go back to sleep" I stroked her hair again.

"But I wanna know what we've found"

"Love, you just go back to sleep" I put her head back down on my chest and she instantly nuzzled back into me, closing her eyes.

Within seconds, she dropped into a sleep again.

"God Minho! I should kill you!" I whisper yelled.

"Sorry, I didn't know"

"Newt, stay with Y/n, I'll go see what they found" Alby left.

I put my head back down on the pillow, and fell asleep myself.
