Newt- Stars

I stared up at the wooden roof of my hut. I was tired. Exhausted. But eyes refused to close. Annoyed, I slid out of bed onto the cold wood floor. My body shivered, so I grabbed my hoodie and slipped it on to keep myself warm. I put on my shoes and walked out of my hut into the silent glade.

I wandered out into the darkness and found a nice spot to lie down. Lying on my back, I looked up at the stars.

"What are you doing out here love?" I heard.

I looked over to see Newt, holding his arms and shivering.

"Couldn't sleep, you?"

"Same" He sat down next to me " Why are you lying on the floor?"

"I'm watching the stars"

"Stars?"

"Yeah, I think they're pretty"

He leaned down to be lying on his back too and looked up to the sky.

"They are" He agreed " It's cold out here, maybe we should go back inside?"

"Ok" I sighed, getting up " see you in the morning"

"Wait!"

I stopped and turned back around.

"You could stay with me if you wanted?"

I thought for a minute, I couldn't waste an opportunity like this.

"Ok, sure"

So we walked back together to Newts hut. I climbed into bed beside him, and fell asleep.
