Chapter 49 ~ Invitation

*They are finished eating and just talking now but Dixie still has a cheesecake to eat*

Amy: Can we see her

Dixie: Yeah sure *hands Charolette to Noah* Go show her to them

*Noah takes Charolette and gets up. He starts with Hailey since she is right next to him. He holds her by all of them and allows each one of them to see her. They recieved compliments such as "She is cute" "She has her mom smile" "She has her dad nose" and many more then Noah takes her and sits back down with her in his lap*

Heidi: Both of you created such a beautiful child

Dixie: Thank you *smiles* *opens the cheesecake and starts eating*

Noah: Can i have a bite baby?

Dixie: No!

Tim: I can buy you one since she isnt sharing with you Noah

Dixie: *picks up some cheesecake in a fork and puts it infront his mouth*

Noah: *opens his mouth as she puts it in and he chews it* No, im accostumed with this behaviour of her. Her emotions are all over the place since pregnancy so there will be times when she is eating something and if she wants to share i will have to eat it and then there will be times when she is eating something and doesnt want to share so i respect her choice before we have any kind of arguement

Marc: Thats nice of you

Charli: Can i hold my neice please

Noah: *looks at Dixie* Your choice babe

Dixie: Im sorry but we just started back speaking after months and i dont feel comfortable with that

Tatum: Pleaseee

Noah: Im going to say something, tell me if you agree or not ok baby?

Dixie: Ok bub

Noah: What if they visit us and we visit them often so we can get back close eventually and when that happens, they will be able to hold Char?

Dixie: Good idea

Noah: Guys?

Everyone: We agree

Dixie: How about you guys sepnd the night tonight

Noah: Yeah

Amy: Are there enough rooms for all of us?

Noah: There are four spare bedrooms but one technically belongs to Curtis so three

Dixie: Mr. and Mrs. Beck can have a room, mom and dad can have a room and Charli, Tatum and Hailey can have a room for the night

Heidi: We will be there

Tim: But we will be about twenty minutes later than we should because both of you were twenty something minutes late

Noah: It was our first time leaving home with a baby, we didnt know we would be that late

Tatum: Before we go, there are no juices in random places of the house like there was at the front door last time right?

Dixie: I was tired most of my pregnancy so i can guarantee you that our house is clean

Noah: Be there by 8:30pm so we can lock up early, im going to take these two girls home so we can put Char to bed now

Everyone: Bye

*Dixie and Noah leave with Charolette on Noahs arm covered with a blanket and they run to their car quickly before anyone sees them. Noah buckles Charolette into her carseat and covers her while Dixie puts the bag in the backseat then both Dixie and Noah enter the car and Noah starts to drive home*
