"what the fuck are these?" carmen says holding up all the pregnancy tests.. "um.." i say stuttering. "fake?" i say trying to lie.
she squeals "OH MY GOD YOUR PREGNANT HARPER!!!" i nod and smile. she hugs me. "ow-" i say trying to breath. "too tight.." she laughs and lets go. "sorry" she laughs and holds my hands. she jumps and i grab extra clothes and one of the pregnancy tests. "how am i going to tell theo.." i mumble to myself. carmen comes over to me. "you haven't told him yet...?" shes asks. i shake my head and place my hand on my forehead. "no.." i say.

the door creaks open as i was sitting on the couch, harper comes walking in the door. "i'm back babe" she says to me. "welcome back" i say politely. she was clutching her purse and wasn't letting go. "come here" i say moving over on the couch. she comes to sit down.
i unbutton her top, seeing her bra. i start to kiss her but she stops me. was something happening? "i-i have something to tell you theo" she says stuttering trying to speak.
she holds up a white stick with 2 lines.
