Mingi_99: Jared
J4red: Mingi
Mingi_99: You told Jongho you wanted us to meet?
J4red: Of course I did
J4red: He seemed so sad that you didn't want to see me
Mingi_99: I'm trying to let you two be friends, why would you say you want us to meet
J4red: Because he wants us to
J4red: Besides, I'd love to see you again
Mingi_99: You're making this hard on yourself. You should be careful
J4red: Please, I'm not scared
Mingi_99: This isn't a coincidence is it?
J4red: Give the boy a lollipop, he's figured it out
Mingi_99: We need to talk, face to face
J4red: Sure, let's meet then :D
Mingi_99: Meet me at the skate park at eight
J4red: I'll be there :D

"You still skate, huh? I thought you'd left that life behind?" Jared was leaning against a big skateboarding figure.
"I dropped the bad things about that life, kept only the good ones" Mingi smirked when he saw the other roll his eyes.
"Ouch, that almost hurt" He bumped his feet together, bored.
"You're not really Jongho's friend, are you?" Mingi asked, standing in front of the boy.
"Depends. Do I like his company, sure. Do I prefer yours, a hundred times yes" Jared took out an apple and bit in it, seemingly unbothered.
"You're despicable" Mingi exhaled strongly. "I thought maybe you didn't know we knew each other and that you two were friends. I wasn't going to tell Jongho about you so that you could remain friends"
"Hmmm, would you be doing that for him or for yourself? Am I your dirty secret that you have to hide?" Jared batted his eye lashes and pouted.
"I'm not hiding anything and you're nothing of mine" Mingi spat.
"That one did hurt. Don't I qualify as a first love? High school sweetheart maybe? How about ex-boyfriend? No? Not even ex-roommate?" Jared faked cried and pouted. "Now I'm really hurt" He clutched his heart in a dramatic way.
"You're pathetic. What do you want with Jongho?" Mingi asked.
"So serious but you know it's quite easy. I want something that he has but belongs to me" Jared got up and walked up to Mingi. "A little something that's right here" He pointed to the elder's heart.
"You're crazy. You and I haven't been together for two years. You have no right over me anymore" Mingi stepped backwards and turned around.
"I got to tell you, you were so much more fun before Mingi " Jared went to stand next to him.
"You used to be free and wild. Don't you remember the life we had before? The thrill?" Jared smiled when he remembered all the good times the two used to share.
"We were vandals. We'd vandalize parks, buildings. Get chased by the cops every night. Even spend some in jail, drunk off our asses" Mingi scoffed and kept on looking forward.
"Exactly. We were fun, we were wild, we were together. Us with the boys, we'd spend our days and nights here at this park. Smoke and drink until we couldn't stand" Jared saw Mingi's disgusted face and bit the inside of his cheeks. "You've gone soft" He hissed.
"I told you, I kept only the good stuff of that life. Skateboarding and Yunho" Mingi could feel the blonde's burning gaze on him.
"You chose Yunho over me and cut me out of your life completely! I didn't deserve that. We were in love" He spoke through gritted teeth.
"We were. But we were also young and stupid" Mingi looked at Jared, he could see his façade crumbling.
"You were my everything, Mingi. You were the one you helped me through my rough times" Jared looked down and fought away his tears.
"And you're fine now. I was there when you needed me and stayed until you were fine on your own" Mingi scooted closer to Jared but kept looking forward.
"Why did you choose this place to meet? The place we first met..." Jared rolled his eyes, annoyed.
"Like you said, we met here when we were fifteen. I had run away from home and you were here with your brother. Even though you had a perfect family, you weren't okay. You brought me in and stayed with me until we were like twenty. You gave me a family every time I needed to forget mine-"
"And you left" Jared exhaled and looked at Mingi. He wasn't even angry, but he resented the boy.
"You brother helped me get straight. You and I, we both went straight after high school and by that time, we didn't seem to be getting along. I wanted more in life then what you could give me" Mingi finally looked at the younger boy.
"And can Jongho give you that?" His voice broke, it made Mingi sad.
"He can and he is. I love him, Jared" Mingi said as the cold wind brushed on his arm making him shiver.
"You'll never love him the way you loved me"
"I probably won't. But it's him that I want, it's him that I need. He's the one I choose" Mingi grabbed his friend's hand in his.
"Your mind was made up a long time ago, wasn't it?" He asked as he looked down.
"It was. And if I want to keep on smiling when I think of you, you have to let go of me and leave me alone" Mingi squeezed his hand.
"You were right to choose this place. I'll tell you my last goodbye at the same place I told you my first hello" Jared closed his eyes and himself be pulled into a hug. "Goodbye, Mingi"
"Goodbye, Jared"
