"You okay?" Jared was sitting next to Jongho on a park bench outside the exhibit they had gone to see.
"I don't know, Mingi says he has something important to tell me" Jongho bit his lips nervously.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure it'll be fine" Jared smiled and ruffled the boy's hair.
"He said it had to do with you. But he doesn't even know you. I'm sure it's going to lead to a fight..." Jongho looked at his friend and smiled, feeling embarrassed.
"It will only lead to a fight if you block yourself. If you listen to him and try to understand him, I'm sure you two can work things out" Jared readjusted his posture and faced Jongho.
"I always listen to what he has to say, but like I said. He's not very objective when it comes to you" The younger dropped his head and sighed.
"You have to really listen this time. Mingi's a great guy. I'm sure whatever he says or does, he does it in a way that will benefit you two. So don't worry, you're lucky to have him..." Jared faced forward once more and kept his eyes on the cars that were passing by.
"I'm lucky to have you both in my life. Thank you for everything, Jared" Jongho smiled happily when the blonde swung his arm around him, bringing him closer and kissed his head.
"Forgive me, Jongho" He whispered.
++++
"Hey there" Jongho opened the door and let the other come in.
"I come bearing gifts" Mingi smiled and threw something on the couch.
"Candy?" Jongho rolled his eyes and grabbed the five packs of candy and placed them on the coffee table. "I'm so tired"
"How come?" Mingi sat down next to him and brought the boy in a hug.
"I was up all night last night" Jongho confessed.
"Why? Is there something on your mind? Anything I can help you with?" Mingi kissed his cheek and held him tighter.
"Yes, maybe. I'm trying to find out why you've been acting so weird ever since we started dating" Jongho deadpanned.
"Okay, let's talk about that-"
"But wait, didn't you want to talk to me about Jared?" The younger remembered what they had talked about by text.
"Well this is related. Do you remember what happened on our first day as a couple?" Mingi asked, not letting go of the boy.
"We fought and I got sent home" Jongho couldn't help but tease the elder. He looked up and saw him rolling his eyes.
"Continue" He chuckled and kissed his chin.
"Okay well what happened the first time we saw each other after that then?" Mingi felt Jongho stir in his arms but didn't let go.
"I don't know? You came to the store and I introduced you to Jared" Jongho furrowed his eyes brows, where was this going?
"Exactly. I started behaving differently ever since I met him" Mingi took a deep breath, he was afraid of what would follow.
"But why? What does Jared have to do with this?" Jongho turned to face the brunette.
"Well it wasn't the first time I met him"
