Mingi had been in constant conflict with himself ever since he had thrown the younger out of his home two days ago. He knew he had overreacted, and he wanted to apologize to Jongho for his behavior. But at the same time, he was indeed hurt and wanted Jongho to understand that.

"Do I go, do I stay" The elder pondered out loud.

Mingi_99: Jongho, are you there?

Jongho: Hey there

Jongho: How are you?

Mingi_99: I'm okay, I've been thinking a lot

Mingi_99: Can we see each other today?

Jongho: Sure, I'd love to but I'm working until four

Mingi_99: I can wait

Jongho: Great, should I go to your place?

Mingi_99: Yeah, sounds good

Jongho: Okay then

Mingi turned off his phone, the younger had been texting him for two days but he hadn't answered. He didn't know what to say. He looked at the clock, it was two o'clock, he still had time.

Mingi parked his car in front of his boyfriend's workplace and made his way over. He knew Jongho had said he would go to his house, but he thought he'd surprise him and go pick him up from work.

He opened the doors and made his way to the front desk where his boyfriend usually worked. He saw him talking with a client and made his way over.

"Mingi, you're here" Jongho got up and smiled when he saw the elder.

"Sorry if I'm early" He smirked and Jongho couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

"You're right on time, I was actually telling Jared that I was on my way to your house" Jongho pointed to the boy in front of him and Mingi's smile fell.

"So, this is Jared?" His angry face was quickly replaced by one of shock when the blonde boy turned around.

"You must be Mingi, I'm Jared" The boy smiled warmly and extended his hand for Mingi to shake.

"Pleasure to meet you" Mingi said through gritted teeth.

"Alright I'm all set, goodbye Jared" Jongho waved.

"See you soon, yeah?" Jared patted his head and looked at Mingi.

"You bet!" Jongho grabbed Mingi's hand and lead them both out of the store.

"I'm so glad you finally got to meet him, but it's a shame you guys couldn't get to know each other. If you're okay with it, maybe we could all go out sometime?" Jongho looked at Mingi who wasn't saying anything.

"That way you could see there's nothing going on between us. At all" Jongho squeezed Mingi's hand which seemed to bring him back to reality.

"I'd love to. There's no problem. Actually, that's why I wanted to see you" Mingi sat them both down on a park bench.

"I'm sorry for how I acted that day. I overreacted and I shouldn't have. Please forgive me" Mingi turned to face Jongho, their hands still intertwined.

"I forgive you, of course I do. I shouldn't have brought up Jared that day and I think it would have been fine if I'd cancel on him. He'd understand. You should know you come first" Jongho gently caressed Mingi's cheek with his hand. The elder closed his eyes for a fraction of a second before grabbing his hand and kissing it softly.

"I'm sorry I ruined our first night together as a couple" Jongho looked down and pouted.

"You didn't ruin it. Besides, it means I get an excuse to bring you back to my place tonight" Mingi wiggled his eyebrows.

"Don't get any ideas, mister!" Jongho playfully hit him on the chest.

"I'm kidding, you know that" Mingi laughed and brought the boy into his arms. "Well, only partially kidding"

"Yah!" Jongho tried to get out of the elder's grip but failed miserably.

"Stay put" Mingi kissed the top of his head and secured his grip.

"Humph" Jongho scoffed but smiled, nonetheless.

"You know when you said you'd be quiet and allow me to finish my work at ease I didn't think you'd be this quiet" Jongho pointed out. He looked at his boyfriend who had been sitting on the couch for the past two hours, not saying anything.

"Well I know how focused you're supposed to be when you do your accountant thingies" Mingi gestured the computer with the excel sheet Jongho had been using.

"That's sweet but it feels weird, so much silence" Jongho was sitting down at the dining table, finishing something for work tomorrow.

"I'm sorry if I've been off" Mingi got up and walked up to Jongho. He leaned in behind him and kissed the top of his head.

"It's okay, as long as you're okay" Jongho rubbed his arm in a comforting way and looked up.

"I am. Something's on my mind but I'll take care of it quickly" Mingi leaned in and pecked the younger's lips.

"I'm all done. Do you want to watch a movie or something?" Jongho closed his laptop and got up.

"Are you spending the night?" Mingi pouted and swayed their hands, acting cute.

"Fine, I'll spend the night. But only because I can't say no when you look at me like that" Jongho agreed and felt himself being pulled forward.

"I'm so happy" Mingi smiled and captured his lips.

What was meant to be a quick kiss soon turned into a passionate one. Jongho melted into the elder's warm embrace as his eyes closed. Mingi wrapped his arms around him tighter and deepened the kiss. He nibbled the other's lip, asking for entrance which Jongho granted easily. They eventually parted and Jongho smiled before resting his head in Mingi's chest.

"Come on, let's sleep" He grabbed his hand and lead his to the bedroom to start getting ready for bed.
