Jongho was typing numbers in an excel sheet on the computer all the while staring at the window every five minutes. It was already one and Mingi should be here any minute to pick him up and go to lunch. The doors opened and Jongho's head whipped to the side to see who it was.

"Is someone waiting for me?" Mingi teased as he rested his hands on the counter.

"I'm starving, let's get out of here" The ravenette grabbed his jacket and keys before exiting the shop. He locked the store and turned around to face Mingi who was smiling at him.

"Where are we going?" Jongho asked as the boys started walking side to side.

"I know a cute place not too far, we can walk" The pair walked along side each other, small talking about each other's day.

Mingi took them to a nice restaurant where Jongho had never been. They sat down across from each other and looked at the menu even though Mingi already knew what he wanted to ask for the both of them. It wasn't long before a short waitress came to get their order.

The elder ordered the restaurant's famous tray of raw fish which consisted in a variety of sushi and sashimi. To other's it might seem like they were stuck in an awkward conversation but the two didn't need to have deep conversation to enjoy each other's presence and feel like the moment was worth it.

When the food arrived, Mingi picked up a sushi with is chopstick and brought it over to Jongho's lips who wrapped them around it.

"Woah, this is really good" He smiled and put a thumbs up towards Mingi who nodded his head frantically.

"I love this place, it looks fancy and the food is great but it's not expensive! It's such a treasure"

"There's so much food, do you think we'll be able to eat it all?" Jongho inquired as he stared at all the plates on the table.

"Don't you know me? I'm a stomach with legs, I can eat all day" The ravenette couldn't but laugh at the elder.

By the time they were finished eating, Jongho's break was already over. Even though he didn't want to go back to work, he knew he couldn't just not go. The two boys had spent fighting the last half of their meal fighting over who would pay. Mingi insisted on paying seeing how this was his idea, whereas Jongho was not ready to let him to it.

"How about, I pay this time and you pay next time?" Jongho offered.

"Is that your way of telling me you want to go eat lunch with me again?" Mingi teased.

"Yes it is" Mingi's expression immediately changed to a smile when he heard Jongho's bold answer.

"Fine, you can pay then"

Once Jongho had paid, the two boys left. You could hear the sound of their shoes scraping against the sidewalk and the eventual cough or sigh escaping their lips. It was a comfortable silence they walked in.

At some point, Jongho felt something warm graze his fingers before wrapping around them. When he looked down, he saw Mingi's hand wrapped around his and smiled. He responded by giving it a light squeeze and kept on walking until they reached his work place.

"Here I go" The pair stopped and looked at each other.

"Well I hope you have fun for the rest of the day then" Mingi swayed his body left to right, he didn't want to leave yet.

"I don't want you to go" Jongho instinctively looked down after saying that, but felt his chin being pulled up. His eyes met Mingi's and his breath hitched. He looked at the elder slowly lean and felt two lips softly land on his forehead. He closed his eyes and smiled.

"Talk to you later?"

"Yeah, definitely" Jongho kept on bobbing his head making the brunette laugh and gently pat his head. Mingi turned around and started walking away. He turned once to wave goodbye to Jongho once again before turning back and walking away.
