Finding Love

Chapter 5

HOOK

I could tell Evidence was hiding something from me. After I told her who I wanted revenge on she pulled back. I know when women want me and she does. But something is stopping her and i need to find out what that is.

"Captain, the crew was wondering what will happen if you don't survive the trip back from the dark one's castle. Who will be captain?" Smee asks walking up beside me as I look at the island through my telescope.

"You will take over Smee. Why do you think your my first mate?" I reply honestly then smile when I see a few lost boys hop in a few fow boats and start rowing towards us.

"Who is she? The woman you've brought a board the Jolly Roger. I thought you told me you would never let another woman on the ship after what happened to Milah..." He stutters as he sees my face contort into a frown.

"She's someone who is going to help me finally get my revenge on the Dark One. I'm not sure what else she is to me just of yet. Why do you ask?"

"No reason." Smee smiled than left me in peace.

"It's been quite a while Captain. Pan was starting to get worried." Felix chuckled jumping onto the jolly Roger with a few lost boys.

"Why are you here Felix? I unload on the beach and we never speak. Those have been the terms for years." I ask him confused.

"Pan felt someone with powerful magic when you came down into Neverland. He would like to know who that is before you leave us for good." Bloody hell, Evidence.

"I'm afraid you're going to have to leave disappointed. There's no one here but me crew." I smirk chuckling.

"Then you won't mind if we search your ship." He says nodding at the other boys to start searching.

"Go ahead." Evidence better have heard me or she's in danger. Pan might look like a boy but he's a bloody demon.

I stay where I am and cross my fingers hoping she hid well enough from them. Who knows what Pan would do to her. He's kept Wendy in a cage for years making her tell the lost boys stories.

"It would appear we were wrong, Captain. You already know what happens to people who lie to him. If you find someone with magic, simply send a message." Felix said grimmly and hopped off my ship into the row boat with the others.

After they were out of view I rushed down below deck and went into my quarters to find Evidence sitting down and looking at the picture of Milah. I kept it in my desk to remember her and know what I'm trying to kill the crocodile for.

"Was this Milah?" She asks, her face all scunched up as if confused. She gives off the best facial expressions. She's so cute.

"Yes, that's her. Do I sense some jealousy?" I tease sitting down beside her on the bed.

"Me? Jealous of her over you? Haha in your dreams Captain. I'd rather much rather spend the rest of my life alone than be another wench that you had in your bed." She says narrowing her eyes and standing up to look out the window to look at the sea.

"Is that so, luv?" For some weird reason when she said that I felt bad. No. I will not fall for another woman just to get them killed. Not until I've destroyed the crocodile once and for all.

"Yes! When can we leave Neverland for Rumplestiltskins castle? I don't want to be couped up on this ship any longer than I have to." She exclaims glaring at me as I walk up to her with a smirk on my face.

"Relax, here have a drink." I whisper pouring a glass of rum and handing it to her.

"No thanks. I tend to get highly emotional with alcohol and it just so happens my magic tends to go haywire." She says pushing back my hand away from her.

"Hmm, your loss luv. How did you escape from being seen by the lost boys?" I ask tilting my head to the right and raise an eyebrow.

"I used a simple avoidence spell on the room so no one could find me let alone see the room. I put it on the door before I went to sleep so no one would bother me or try anything with me. I'm not stupid. I'm on a ship with a dozen men and their captain has quite a history with women." She whispers looking down or any where but me.

"That may be true but I'd never force a woman. I've never needed to. And you are under my protection. " I whisper leaning in so our faces were inches apart.

"To hell with the consequences." She whispered before crashing her lips onto mine. Her lips were so soft but hungry for more and I was glad to give it to her.

After a few lush moments she pushes me away and shakes her head repeatedly. "N-no. I can't. I'm sorry." She whispers and poofs away in a cloud of gold smoke. Hmm, gold.

EVIDENCE

"I'm an idiot. I can't fall for his enemy!" I growl pulling at my ginger colored hair.

I had poofed myself on some sort of cliff on the island that has a mini water fall behind a bunch of thorny bushes that I decided to stay away from after seeing the thorns dripping in black liquid.

I sit at the edge of the cliff and stare at Hooks ship in sadness. "How could I tell him? He'd either leave me here to die or keep me as leverage and neither of those options sound good.

"Who are you?" I hear a boys voice and I turn around to see Peter Pan in all his glory, which I don't think is that much.

"My name's Evidence. You're Pan."

"Yes, I am. So you're the one with magic that Hook brought to Neverland. You look familiar...who are your parents?" Pan asks, still smirking.

"My mother is Cora." I reply.

"And your father?" He insists.

"I have a feeling you already know the answer to that little riddle." I growl.

"But I want to hear you say it. Let's make it a game and call it Peter pan says. I ask the questions and you answer them. If you lie, you die. Simple enough, right?" He grins.

"Rumplestiltskin is my father. Now why do you care so much about that? It's not like I'm the only child of the dark one. He has a son. My mother told me that a long time ago."

"Because, lass, he's my son." My eyes widen and I stand up keeping my distance.

"That's impossible. How old are you?" I gasp trying to grasp the concept that this boy is my grandfather.

"Age is a complicated question in a realm that time stands still. Why is my granddaughter with my son's mortal enemy? Is this your idea of getting daddy's attention?" He says teasingly. His eyes sparkle with mischief and I now understand that I should've stayed on the ship with Hook.

"I just want to feel loved and I thought I'd find that through my father. So I told Hook that I'd help him get his revenge." I whisper backing further away from his approaching figure.

"So Hook has no clue about your relations to Rumple? Hahaha! That won't last long. Secrets have a way of coming out one way or another in Neverland." He whispers in my ear.
