HOOK
"Damn..." I groan as she hits me in the head with my knife. She's going to regret doing that. I think to myself as everything goes black.
"Captain? Captain, wake up!" Smee says knocking repeatedly on my door. I sit up and hiss at the pain in my head. I look down to she that she stole my knife and grabbed the keys from me. I swear when I find her she will never step foot on land ever again.
"What is it Smee?!" I shout at him opening the door and then touching my head and feeling blood. Bloddy hell, she has strength.
"The Queen is on deck and threatening to kill all of us if you don't go up and face her. She says you broke a deal with her." He informs me.
"Your majesty, what an unpleasant surprise." I smirk, walking up on deck.
"Hook. WHERE IS SHE?!" She shouts marching towards me. .
"Where is who?" I chuckle smirking at her despite the throbbing pain in my head and the urge to find my Evi.
"Don't play games with me pirate! You brought her out if Wonderland instead of my mother! You have no idea what you've just unleashed!" She shouts and begins to choke me with her magic.
"I...don't....know!" I hiss trying desperately to breathe. "She....es...scaped!"
"Regina! Stop it! We just saw Evidence." I hear someone say and I collapse to the ground catching my breath and glaring at the Queen. The women in this family have serious anger issues. Good thing there aren't anymore.
"What?! Where is she? Is she alright?" The Queen asks concerned. I'm wondering the same thing.
"She was trembling in fear and had skinned her knee from tripping in the road. I'd hardly call her alright." The prince says firmly.
"Well, WHERE IS SHE, CHARMING?!" The Queen shouts causing attention to go on us.
"She poofed away in a cloud of smoke." Snow sighed, rubbing her buldging pregnant stomach. It makes me wonder what Evi would look like pregnant carrying our child.
"Gah! You two are completely useless. I'll have to figure out where she's headed alone." The Queen says cursing under her breath.
"She's trying to find her father." I grumble irritably. "That's all I know." I whisper looking directly into Regina's cold calculating eyes.
"Are you aware of who her father is?" She asks me with curiosity.
"Of course I do, your majesty. Who knows how he was able to produce such a specimen as a daughter? Reguardless, I'd hardly go prowling through the woods searching for her. So I suggest you get off my ship, please." I add the please as emphasis and to show i do have manners.
"If I see you anywhere near my sister again, I'll make sure you're called Captain no hands. Good luck with your revenge, Hook. You'll need it." She smirks malevolently and walks off the ship with Snow and the Prince.
I put my hook under my chin and stare at them as they disappear into the crowd. I won't need luck if I have the evidence to prove it.
"Captain? Where are we headed?" Smee asks.
"Why are you asking me, Captain?" I chuckle turning to Smee with a wide grin. Now that I've found what I've been searching for for decades. I can begin on my final journey towards revenge and hopefully a second chance at love. I won't need the Jolly Roger anymore.
"W-what are you saying?" He stutters in confusion.
"The Jolly Roger is now yours, mate. But, shall I ever need a lift I'm sure you'd be more than willing." I chuckle and pat him on the shoulder like an old friend.
"Aye, Aye! Thank you so much! The Jolly Rogers will always be yours." He says as I leave and head towards the woods in the direction of the darkone's castle.
EVIDENCE
I gasp at how large my fathers castle is and grin seeing how beautiful it is. Yes, it's filthy and filled with cobwebs but that could easily be dealt with.
As I wander through my father's home, I come to realize it's been abandoned for quite a while. If he's not here, than perhaps I can find him with something of his here. There are dozens of magical items or potions here. All i need to do is find something of value.
I start searching through some cupboards but slam them shut when I can't find anything useful. "Why can't he make this easier and have a magic mirror hanging up like my sister?!" I growl, talking to myself.
*Whizz!* I gasp jumping back when an arrow burried itself in the wall mere inches from my head.
"That was a warning my lady. Chivalry and all that." The archer says jumping down from the window and removing his green hood.
"Who are you?" I ask still tense from almost being punctured by his arrow.
"The name's Robin, Robin Hood. Now tell me, why you're trespassing in my castle?" He responds still aiming his next arrow at my heart.
"You're the one that trespasses. This castle belongs to the dark one." I reply, raising an eyebrow at him.
"He hasn't been seen since the Queen's threat. If he appears I'll be more than happy to vacate." He says gesturing towards the door with his bow & arrow.
"You can stay until he returns, I just need some of his magic to locate him." I shrug and turn back around to look for a crystal ball or mirror. Perhaps ingredients to make a locator potion.
"Who would you be to grant such title?"
"My name is Evidence. I'm his daughter." I whisper as I smile and collect all the ingredients I need from his cupboard.
"Well then, be my guest." He smiles putting his weapon away and gestures to my work.
"You don't want proof?" I question him, with a doubtful look.
"Who would claim to be that, who wasn't?" He chuckled and sat down on the window sill staring at me as I mixed up the potion.
"I guess you're right. I've never actually met him but I know he's just as dangerous as my mother. So I'm not scared of much and I wouldn't claim to be his daughter if I wasn't positive." I mumble. I grab a random item from the top cupboard, which just so happened to be a chipped tea cup and stuff it in my bag with the locator spell.
"Is there anyway I could get some magic myself? It's quite hard for a common theif like myself to steal from people these days. Everytime I try to steal something, there's a witch or sherif in my way." He says smirking. "I did give you a warning shot, my lady."
"Fine, here." I grumble tossing the leather cuff at him. "That cuff will dampen anyone's magic as long as they have it on their wrist. Now get out of my sight. You smell like forest." I scrunch up my nose at him in disgust.
"Robin?! I heard noise." A very heavy set man said walking into the room with a child who runs up to Robin in pure joy.
"Papa!" The little boy yells and hugs Robin.
My heart aches seeing the little boy. I have always wanted children of my own. But- no. I can't go down that road again. He'd find me...
"Who's this handsome little man?" I ask smiling at the boy with kind eyes.
"This is my son, Roland. Merry men come in all sizes." Robin says which causes my smile to widen.
"Well, hello there. My name's Evi." I say shaking hands with the little boy.
"Robin, the Queens treasury is being transported through Sherwood forrest not far from here. If we hurry we could catch it." The bigger guy said smiling with hope filled eyes.
"Thank you, little John. Evidence, it seems we will both be leaving. I hope to see you again." He smiles and they leave the room and the castle.
"Now it's time for me to find my father." I sigh, sitting down and gently touching his spinning wheel.
