Hook

"Eek!" Evidence squeals loudly quickly moving out of arms length from me.

I bolt up in worry then understanding when I see her reaction toward me. "Evi? Luv, hear me out. I'm not going to hurt you." I say calmly hoping to keep her from freaking out.

"Hurt me? You hurt me?! Hahaha! I'm the one that'll hurt you if you don't stay away from me! I lost control for the first time in years because of you! What's worse is I can't even remember what she did or said to you. It's like my memory is gone. That's never happened before." She rants on but it drowns down to a faint whisper as I walk towards her.

"Evidence, just listen to me. Right down there is a passage to the old dwarf mines underneath the castle. In said mine holds the very person I swore to destroy, your father." I say pointing down to the entrance of said cave hoping as a different tactic. I don't like the look of fear in her eyes toward me.

"You're going to let me meet him? I thought you wanted to keep me as far away from him as possible." She says shaking her head in confusion and looking down at the entrance in yearning.

I laugh, breaking Evi out of her thoughts. "As much as I want to, you have magic and I only have a sword. I can't force you to do anything. But know if you go down there intending to free him from his cage, I won't think twice about hurting either one of you. Unlike Baelfire, you have no connections to my past love." I say in a dark threatening tone causing her to whimper. I just want her to understand how big this situation is between the crocodile and I. It's been going on for centuries.

"I- I just want to see him! I've only seen him once in my life when he was telling my sister to push my mother to Wonderland! I promise not to free him if I don't see any redeeming qualities in him. Please! I just want a family member who loves me and doesn't see me as an accident!" She sobs, wiping away her tears as they fall. Bloody hell, why does she have to cry? It breaks my heart.

"He abandoned his own son to keep his powers. How can you put faith in a man like that? He'll find a way to use you for his own gain! Please listen to me!" I yell at her. She shakes her head and glares at me. Oh shit, I swear this woman is bipolar. Must be the red hair.

"Says the man that let the same child's mother abandon him without a second thought! Milah was a horrible mother and wife! It's no wonder my father killed her!" She screams and throws me against a tree in pure rage.

I groan and slump in a heap pretending to be unconcious. I peak my eyes open a hair to see if she was far enough away for me to follow her and she was. I get up and smile to myself. Let's hope the darkone does not have a heart after all or Evidence will hate me forever.

A few times I think Evidence heard me because she kept turning around or stopping suddenly. I kept dodging behind walls hoping the darkness was hiding me well.

"Who's there?!" I hear a man shout. As Evidence gets closer I recognize him as Snow White's new husband. Huh, he was on the ship. I better stay back until the coast is clear in case there are more gaurds.

"Prince James? It's me, Evidence. I'm sorry for intruding onto your property but I need to see my sister and I was scared Hook was waiting in the castle grounds." She says in a scared tone. Liar, you attempted to knock me out! He puts his sword away hesitantly. Ugh, princes are so stupid.

"It's Prince David actually. Sorry for scaring you. I can escort you into the palace to see her if you wish." He says in a soothing tone. I fists clench in anger.
