EVELYN

Hook nods. "Then I guess I'll just have to change that won't I, luv?" He chuckles.

"You are free to try but it won't matter. Soon you'll be dead and I will be causing absolute chaos with my father at my side." I say, keeping my eyes trained on him. I may have my magic back but he's a dirty pirate with a sword which I would very much prefer not to get in the way of.

"You plan to kill me?" He asks with an amused smile on his face. What is so funny about the thought of me killing him? He's supposed to be running for dear life.

"No, I promised Evi I wouldn't kill you. I'm going to hand you over to my father as a present. He'll be the one to kill you. But I will give you a shot to live. How about a duel? Just you and me in a sword fight. If I win, you will be my prisoner and come with me willingly or unwillingly to where Rumplestiltskin is located. If by some small chance you win, I'll surrender control to Evidence and you can do what you wish. Deal?" I ask with confidence laced in my words. Truth be told I'm really nervous.

Hook laughs and smirks at me as if I made a joke. "You sound like a pirate. Are you sure you want to do this, luv?" He asks pulling out his sword and swinging it on his finger teasingly.

I narrow my eyes at him. "Yes, I'm pretty sure. I know a few tricks around a sword fight. This will just be more interesting considering you have a hook for a hand and aren't afraid to lose it. I'm also at a disadvantage since you've been a pirate for a couple centuries." I shrug trying to play off my fear of losing for confidence. Never let your enemy know your weak points.

Hook sighs and puts his sword back in it's sheath. "I'm not going to fight you, Evidence." He says with a sad look in his eyes.

"My name is EVELYN! How many times do I have to tell you to get the information stuck in that thick head of yours!" I shout, using my magic to throw him across clearing into a tree.

"Well, I had hoped I would flirt my Evi out of you but that doesn't seem to be working... I won't fight the woman I have feelings for. I couldn't bear the thought of hurting you, luv." He grunts then stands up on his wobbly legs from the blast of magic I had shot at him.

"You call that flirting? Sweetheart, I'd much prefer a tall glass of rum then some wishy washy nonsense with you giving me your best smolder and saying I'm a fragile woman that needs your protection. Ugh, men!" I exclaim tossing my hands in the air as if saying I give up.

"You like rum?" He asks with a surprised side smile.

I laugh at the question and instead of answering him I magic his wrists bound in tight rope then I take a swig of his bottle of rum I had snuck off his belt. "Yup. It's the one thing I like about pirates. You sure know how to get a good drink." I smile in return.

Hook grins. "This is a first time a woman has ever tied me up. I'm sure we could do more enjoyable activities than hiking to our doom." He whispers putting his hook under my chin in a non threatening sort of way.

"In your dreams." I smirk and yank his hook out of it's holder that's connected to his arm.

"As you wish." He whispers with the same lustful gaze. If I had no decency and I wasn't on a quest to find my father I might have been stupid enough to take his offer.

We walk for another few minutes without him saying a word. Almost made me want to start up a conversation. I've never been one for complete silence it drives me insane to think I'm all alone. I've spent too long in her head unable to be in contact with anyone.

"How do you expect to kill my father without fore knowledge of where his precious dagger is hidden? What was your plan? Don't you know that you'll become the darkone if you killed him with it?" I ask not looking at him but making sure not to lose sight of the flying teacup.

"I know the consequences of killing him. That's why your sisters curse was so appealing to me. I would have been able to kill him without gaining any of his dark magic." He says in an even voice.

"I'm sorry for breaking that up but a curse isn't my idea of a good time. Especially not for 28 years of no time at all. If anything it's a waste of time." I reply with an impish grin.

"You're definitely his daughter... you said you wanted to cause chaos with him by your side. Who hurt you that made your mind split itself in two parts? One that is open to love and the other that's scared of it." He asks causing me to stop walking still staring straight ahead to where the flying teacup is.

"I am not afraid! I am cautious! And not many people know this but I have been like this my whole life! And I hate it! My family think I came to be after the terrble accident I endured but I was always in here with Evidence. I was the older sister that protected her when she got hurt and no one was there to comfort her! My mother suspected as much but could never figure it out because me and Evi were side by side on everything. You could even say I was her imaginary friend. But-" I shout angrily with tears pouring down my face.

"But something happened that built a wall btween you two. And you've both been fighting for full control scared of what the other might do." He whispers wiping off my tears with his thumb.

"H-how did you get out of the rope?" I say frowing with realization.

"I've only got one hand and it's fairly easy to wiggle my handless arm out of ropes when need be." He smirks then his face goes back to one of understanding. "Now what kind of accident? Were you severely injured?"

I shake my head. "No, not really. It was more of a mental and emotinal accident than physical. I fell in love." I say looking up over the hill with a deep scowl. "Why the bloody hell is he at Snow White's Castle?! There has to be some sort of mistake..." I whisper turning to Hook who has a grim expression and a look of determination in his eyes.

"I'm sorry luv. But I can't let you get hurt by anyone else but me. I've worked too hard to get where I am today." I hear him say before everything goes black.

HOOK

I hit her in the back of the head with the brunt of my sword. I gently lay her down in the grass as I search her for any weapons and my hook. Finding it I put it in it's rightful place than stare at her debating with myself.

I could tie her up and drag her back to the ship but without the cuff keeping her locked up won't work. No, I'll drag her down to the castle where Rumplestiltskin is. I just wish I didn't have to take her heart in order to carry out my plans.

I kneel down beside Evidence or Evelyn whatever she wants to be called and sigh. I line my hook at her chest than quickly plunge in and pull out her beating heart. "You will forget what just happened along with everything we talked about and think you had gotten tired on our trek. So you laid down for a quick nap." I speak to the heart then place it in my satchel for safe keeping.

With that done, I sit down beside her and play with her hair between my fingers. Once I've rid myself of the crocodile I'm going to help her kill whoever hurt her like this. This man that chained her up and tricked her into loving him.

She deserves to love herself and let others love her too. I only hope she will learn to forgive me for what I'm about to do.

HAPPY NEW EARLY YEARS Y'ALL! LET'S HOPE THIS ONE IS BETTER THAN THE ONE I HAD TWO YEARS AGO. Lol
