*Brittany's outfit but imagine her as blonde! And I know that's pretty dramatic but you know Brit, she's very dramatic and a show off*

Sauntering into the schools premises, I keep my head held up high and focus in front of me. However, I manage to see them in the corner of my eye. Staring, whispering, and gushing all flood my senses but I can't blame them. Like look at me, I'm gorgeous.

"How's my favourite baby mama?" Ryder voices as he slings his arm around my shoulders. However, this time, I don't shrug him off. Somehow it's actually comforting.

"You know we don't have Stella anymore? You can stop with the baby mama crap," I say as I flash a fake smile. He laughs, a laugh that consumes my ears and somehow I don't mind being so close to him. I actually crave it?

"Oh come on, you love being my baby mama," he smirks as he pinches my cheek. I slap him away and roll my eyes in complete disgust.

"Stop trying to sound hip, jerk. You're not cool," I point out and huff in annoyance.

"And you think you are?" He asks.

"Of course I am. You're lucky you're even this close to me," I smirk as I push him slightly.

"Oh, how grateful I am to be in your presence, Your Highness," he states, dramatically trying to sound honoured and amazed.

As I stare at Ryder, I mesmerise his sharp features. However, due to my dashing luck, he bumps into someone and we both stumble back slightly. I look up to meet hazel eyes, her brown hair cascading down her back and she quickly readjusts her glasses against her nose.

Looking over to Ryder, I see him staring at her. It looks like he's memerising her features, dumbfounded with her looks and my eyebrows furrow together. I think the f*ck not. "Watch where you're going," I snarl and I step forward with my fists clenched.

"I'm sorry," she stutters over her words and shrinks back slightly.

"Hey, Princess, take a deep breath. She didn't do anything wrong," he interrupts and pulls me back to his side. Oh, so now he's falling in love with her? "Sorry about her, she can be a menace most of the time," Ryder smiles. He actually smiles. The last time I bumped into the guy he nearly ate me alive.

"Now get out of my face!" I snap and she quickly dashes off to her next class. I glance over to Ryder, a smirk attached to his lips and I furrow my eyebrows. "What's your problem?" I ask.

"I should be asking what's your problem," he replies as he takes a step back and crosses his arms over his chest. Gazing down on me, he waits for my answer and I huff.

"You were practically all over her!" I exclaim.

"How was I all over her? I didn't even touch the girl," he says. He groans and takes a deep breath.

"You know what I mean. The last time I bumped into you, you basically nearly ate me alive but with her, you practically fell in love!" I rant and clench my jaw. I saw that look. I saw how he looked over at her. I know the stories where the bad boy falls in love with the goody-two-shoes and the blonde chick is left trying to rip them apart. Is this what it's coming to? Do I have to be the big bad wolf? I guess so and I can be a great one at that.

"Wait, are you jealous?" He asks and smirks.

"What? We're not even dating. What makes you think that?" I stutter over my words.

"Aw, baby, you're jealous, aren't you?" He pouts and squeezes my cheek. I slap his hand away and glare. I am not jealous. What makes him think I'm going to chase a man and ruin my perfectly nice heels? I think the f*ck not.
