Another interview with another awesome Nigerian author. It was fun interviewing her and I'm glad I took out the time to interview this amazing budding author. Want to know how it went? Let's head right in.🤘

Interviewer:
Would you mind introducing yourself?

Tyma:
Not. My name is Fatima. Well, I wouldn't want to disclose my age but anything for the interview. I'm 19 years old and a law student at one of the prestigious universities in Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Interviewer:
Wow, that's very nice!

Tyma:
😁😁😁. I know, right?

Interviewer:
How do you balance schooling with writing?

Tyma:
Apparently, it gets tricky but I try as much as I can to give school works its time and in my leisure time, I write. So basically that's it.

Interviewer:
Yeah, setting priorities. What has been the most challenging thing you had to face here on Wattpad?

Tyma:
Firstly, I would say failure. I wince at the thought of failure and secondly, my previous account got hacked as soon as I started to up my game. It was painful but I got through it. I guess those are the challenges.

Interviewer:
That must have been hard on you. What makes these things worse is how Wattpad isn't taking any effective measures and actions to avoid further occurrence which leaves affected writers helpless and the ones that are yet to be affected, worried.

Tyma:
True. At a point, I had zero zeal to write. I got back recently.

Interviewer:
Delighted to hear that. If your book(s) get published in paperback, how would it make you a better writer?

Tyma:
My book getting published would of course make me a better writer or better still, getting good reviews. I bet you, that's all I would ever need. I'm always in an optimistic mood so yeah.

Interviewer:
If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?

Tyma:
Find yourself and your passion then set up!

Interviewer:
I like that. Do your emotions affect your writing?

Tyma:
It does, a whole lot.

Interviewer:
Do you feel like you are connected to your characters in some ways?

Tyma:
Yeah, kind of.

Interviewer:
Okay🙂. Most of us do. Would you mind sharing an exciting or remarkable story of your writing career?

Tyma:
I would just drop a line. I went to the deep world of writing and I found myself! That alone is exciting!

Interviewer:
👏👏👏 lovely lovely

Tyma:
Thanks 😊

Interviewer:
Welcome! Who is your favourite Nigerian author?

Tyma:
Funny enough, I don't have one. But of course, our Nigerian authors rock!

Interviewer:
Yeah, they sure do. What's your favourite genre to read and write?

Tyma:
Spiritual and romance!

Interviewer:
Nice choice. Okay, to round up our interview, would you like to tell us some fun facts about you?

Tyma:
Well, I love being alone in the confines of my room, buried in books.

I used to be ruffled with animation but now, I'm bothered.

Give me a can of Maltina and we are friends. Lol 😂🙂

My mood changes in seconds.

Interviewer:
Haha 😂, wow. I love you already, like for real. Your first fact is so me.

Tyma:
Aww, thank you so much and I love you too.

Interviewer:
It's been a great interview with you. Keep shining, Pearl and stay blessed always. Much love.

Tyma:
I enjoyed every bit of the interview. I'm sad it ended tho but everything that has a beginning has an end. I appreciate.

This was the interview with Fatima_Mahmoud. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
