"Woah, woah, woah, girl you are not going anywhere with that hair of yours." Ben said, as I felt a firm hand on my shoulder and a brush appear out of nowhere as he started hacking at my hair.

The brush was snatched from Ben's hand and into Jeff's as he moved the brush in slow, long strokes down my hair. I smiled and blushed a bit as we walked slowly towards the city. Even though there was something on the tip of my tongue I couldn't remember, nothing was able to separate me and my joy from being without my long-lost friends.

The first thing I noticed was the appearances. Jeff's hair was a stunning dark brown, like a chocolate lab's. Toby's was a more lighter, chestnut brown that reminded me of something important that I couldn't put my finger on. And Ben's hair was bleach white, and a Nintendo DS appeared in his hand instantly replacing the brush.

When we had warped back to the giant elegant mansion, I had two armfuls of bags around my wrists and arms from various stores such as Hot Topic, Forever 21, F.Y.E, Sephora, and even Hollister. The boys had offered help, but I didn't let them handle my stuff. They each had a bag from Hollister.

The first thing I had noticed is that the mansion seemed kind of dark, and the more I walked towards it, the more the thought of something really important snagged my mind. Like a fire, that burned brighter and brighter until my head was throbbing.

Let's let fate decide...

It seemed as if I just woken up. I threw my bags down, and sprinted into the mansion frantically. Jeff called out my name warily. I ignored him and searched the house.

"Collin!" I shouted.

No response. Was anyone even here?

Jeff appeared behind me. "What's wrong?"

"Where is Collin?" I asked frantically.

"Probably out with Jack. They are like BFF's. And besides, why do you care so much about him?"

"Because the sun is going down, and last time I remember, he was out there, telling me to run! I was scared and I ran here to get help... then I don't remember anything, except appearing here again with an very large amount of bags from the mall...what did you guys do to me?" I asked, storming out the front door.

"I don't know--"

"Of course you don't! Don't talk to me unless you have a reason that you didn't help me. If your friend was out there get mauled by an unknown something, would you let her?"

Jeff was quiet. He looked at me like he was going to punch something. Maybe it was himself. "I wouldn't lose you." he said, walking over to me.

He grabbed my shoulder, and his other hand on my waist, and as he pulled me in close, my breathing was ragged, and he slowly closed his lips on mine.

"Let's go get him." Jeff said, as he squinted into the sunset.
