"There's some parchment and quills over there on that desk, take as much time as you need. I'll just be organising my potions ingredients over there when you need me."

Harry just sat there thinking for a few minutes before he started writing.
'Dear dad,
I'm writing this to tell you that I'm fine and I made it.. to where? You won't believe it! I'm still at Hogwarts! welp not really I guess.. not in our time that is. I'm in the past with the founders. When you got this letter your probably wondering as to where the odd looking bird came from and BEFORE you get worried, NO its not mine, Don't worry.. at least for now... what? nothing..
I found a way to contact you by using Salazar's phoenix. Phoenix! I know right! Shocker! Salazar Slytherin had a phoenix named Ash. It's not like any other phoenix though. Salazar's is a time traveler and it's emerald rather than the normal fiery red. So lady Rowena said they are going to teach me wizarding rules and how to act like a proper lord and heir. Don't know why, she's a sear and she said it like I'll need it really soon.

Salazar hums in agreement while letting his phoenix nibble on his fingers a little bit.
"Ash, meet Harry my heir and Harry this is Ash my familiar. Ash, Harry needs your help to send a letter to his father in a different timeline. Can you do that?"
Ash nodded and gave a soft cry like song.
Salazar turns to face Harry who was still staring in awe "Okay, now you just need to give him your letter and tell him the year, date, place and your fathers name."
